Whiteline arb's

Ive aquired a couple of wide track whiteline arbs for my hawk sti :)

I'll get the drop links in due course the car has been fitted with prodrive springs, is there anything else you'd recommend handling wise? I don't want to go coilovers as I don't want to be loosing my fillings every 10 minutes ;)

Cheers :thumb:

Oh yeah, I will get an alignment done once fitted :)

Add some extra Caster, either by fitting whiteline anti lift kit or fitting some spec c control arms.

Gave my hawk much better steering feel and front grip out of corners.

Your probably find that the roll bars will make your car ride harsher, especially over uneven roads.

thought about the bilstein B14 coilovers they are perfect for road use.

ALK
adjustible top mounts

Harsher I don't mind so much just don't want HARSHER ;)

I'll look into the Alk :thumb: what about camber bolts for the rear?

Don't really want to go coilovers as my current budget is dedicated to my engine rebuild, the arbs came up at a good price and I couldn't resist :D

What's your intended use road or track?

Like my car then, you won't need adjustable top mounts there more than enough adjustment for your needs on the oem camber bolts.

Could add some for the rear, I didn't need them as there was enough slack in the bolts to get what I needed.

What size are your roll bars and what spring you putting on?

Steve001 15 September 2015 10:29 AM

The springs are prodrive -25 if I remember correctly the arbs are 22 front and 24 rear

Put it like this then; bigger bars make the car unstable, therefore slower on b-road type surfaces. Still want to fit them?

Whiteline kca335 front top mounts are an alternative way to add caster.

Why add camber at the rear? You want relatively less grip at the rear to help turn-in.

As 2pot posted, read my bigger roll bars thread, plenty of imformation in there about setting up a hawk sti for road use.

Can use them to reduce, if he lowers on spring's there be two much rear camber.
