Nervy times for us Scooby owners. Had a bloke live near me who had his wagon stolen couple of weeks back. A wagon!!
Hope you find it quick. |
One of the worst things that could happen to you, going in your home & then taking one of your prized possessions if a proper cnuts trick.Hope things work out for you.👍
|
Man that's enough to make your skin crawl.
Having your car stolen is bad enough, but knowing they were in your own home too.....*****! Hope the scum one day get what they rightfully deserve! |
Hi All
Just saying but as we all know cars being stolen from criminals breaking into your house and taking the keys, would you not hide them in a really secure place. I always keep my keys with me and leave them in my bedroom, I would keep the spare key in secret place to make it difficult for these ***** to find. |
I don't understand the argument of hiding the keys...
If these sort of people are willing to break in to get something and they can't find it, who's to say you wouldn't be woken up at 3am with a knife being held to your throat? I'd rather that they simply found the keys without any violence. I feel for the OP as I've been in a similar situation before and it's incredibly unnerving, but at the end of the day - it's just a car. |

I would never take my keys to my bedroom and risk my family. I take the keys with me when we are out though. |
The keys were hidden in the house , they wrecked the place to find them.....
My advice would be to leave them somewhere visible , minimise the damage. |
Sorry to hear ths buddy, hope you get some good news :(

I mostly pop my battery off and unplug a couple of fuses in the engine bay if my car is out of the garage, im gonna make them work a little if they want to take it
|
I was advised to take my keys to bed by the police, I told them I have young kids and Id rather they take the car then come up the stairs and threaten my family!!
A few years ago, A guy near me had some guys break into his house for the keys to his Nissan GTR and they put a axe/knife to his 9 year old kids throat and demanded the keys, So no way would I hide the keys!!:cuckoo: |
Sorry to hear that :(
Hope you get it resolved and find the ***** that did it! |
Sorry to hear about this mate:(.SJ.

Thought it would just result in a punch up. |

That's absolutely scandalous mate, gutted for you, why go to all that trouble to take it and then burn it out, wonder if they've used it for anything.:(
|
Thats is absolutely terrible mate I feel for you bigtime. I hope they get what they deserve! Did you have an agreed value with the insurance company as thats some payout?
|
what a set of cnuts
I feel gutted for you, at least you weren't in did you have an agreed value? |
I keep thinking of getting one of these for my car http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/American-D...item2ee004f952
hide the unit and have a hidden switch powered from acc live and invertor. arm the switch when you leave the vehicle, if someone takes your keys and drives off, the unit switches on and fills the car with fog :lol1: |
Gutted for you.
|
That's grim :(
|
***** :(
|
Complete lowlife scum to do this the cnuts responsible need hanging
