Extreme scoobies just quoted me £235+vat roughly.

Annoyingly up north Scoobyworld say on their site they charge £200 supplied and fitted.
Bloody london prices

LeeG87 21 April 2015 06:35 PM

Just been on scooby world 357 for kit then 195 for fitting

Tidgy 21 April 2015 06:47 PM

no need for water pump.

LeeG87 21 April 2015 06:53 PM

I was going to change just in case as knowing my luck it will go straight after having cambelt done

Tidgy 21 April 2015 06:56 PM

not a common thing to fail on em, wouldn't bother if current one is fine

jaygsi 21 April 2015 06:58 PM

Hi mate, the place your buying your cambelt kit from is called Import car parts, if you go on there website you will find the same kit cheaper on there. £130 labour is a good price.

Ah i swear i saw it say £200 all in on their website! Must have been someone else then. Oh well makes me feel better about living down south if its no cheaper up north.

Is it a decent kit

AS Performance 22 April 2015 08:26 AM

the "uprated" bearing, like the water pump upgrade is simply good marketing and not actually any improvment in general terms as they dont fail

our kits contain factory components and a water pump can easily be added if required

jaygsi 23 April 2015 04:44 PM

Will tel you when i get it fitted ;)
