Only had a Scooby for a year ( 94 sti )
. I suspect you've got to be at 8\10ths and plenty road space to actually have FUN with 4wd anyway . |

It’s just that like some others on here, with an old Subaru on hand for back to back comparison, I just don’t see it as the thrill-a-minute weekend toy. But when I’m on a 400+ mile round trip to London down the M4 and round the M25 and back same day, it’s Golf R, every time. Horses, courses… |

Still had problems with the supplied "spacer" that places the post cat sensor out of the main gas flow. Same problem with a Ed35, also gave some very screwed up values in regards to the sensor ageing measuring blocks. Older GTi no issues, no spacer required either |
Have had a DSG blue 2016 R for about a month.
Blimey it's fast :) Even compared to my previous "fast" cars, e92 M3, Sti 7 and Evo 6. If you are considering one well worth going for a test drive! So nice inside, just needs a bit more real noise... Cheers Dan |
