Well this car kinda fell in to my lap and it was just too nice to resist, she's a my2000 Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA WRC Limited Edition.
The car has obviously been cherished, only covered 59k and to look at appears almost factory standard which I like, but dig a little deeper and it's had a fair amount if money spent in what I think are all the right places, spec as follows... Stunning. You need to get yourself on type-RA if you haven't done so already. I love the limited edition front seats and blue trim. One day I'm owning one.
|
Cheers everyone! She is a little beauty! Just needs the dreaded arches doing, real shame as it looks like it's not had paint before, so I just need to make sure they are done well and done properly.
My plans are to just mint her up under the bonnet and add one or too personal touches and just generally look after it! Drew:thumb: |
Very nice! :thumb:
|
If I could just pick one fault and that's you need to post MORE pictures! Seriously tho....
That is one nice clean looking well spec'd classic :thumb: |
Unspoilt and simple ,very effective looks great.
|
Arches look ok to me, you should see mine need them doing asap.
Think it has has a respray, as just looks like come from showroom |

Think it has has a respray, as just looks like come from showroom The drivers arch is the worse, hence no close up pics and thanks to some photoshop effects you can't see it on the side picture, but trust me it's there but hopefully not for long. :thumb: |
Get rid of those flaps !!! :)

Just seen your selling the Sti 8 motor pal. What you planning to put in this then?
|
Nothing mate! Just enjoy it as it until she goes bang! Which I doubt she ever will seen as though I'll never really drive it! :wonder:
|
Great call mate, get it used and enjoy it :)
|
Can't I tempt you with the white one! Seen as though you have an engine needing a home!? Ha
|

Attachment 70105 Just completed 4498kms in mine around Europe in a week without skipping a beat and no oil used. All OE except some four pots on the front (even the cats and clocks are still in kms but = 45000 miles). Not bad for a car built in May 97 :thumb: https://www.scoobynet.com/wales-26/1...batch-1-a.html |

Cheers for the comments guys, started adding some of my own touches today. First job was to do something about the bonnet, the previous owner had a stick in vinyl plate mounted stuck on the bonnet which had then been removed and left this mess!
Attachment 70106 So the bonnet needs painting, but decided to wait until I get the arches done and sort it all the same time, so until then I have re added a stick on plate to cover up the mess plus added a set of graphics to the fog covers as the front end look too plain....
