Subaru Impreza seat heated kits
Subaru Impreza heated seat kits I've been thinking bout fitting heated seats to my car for a while now, and i've finally started to search around for a suplier, and have decided to do a group buy. I know these kits fit classic Impreza's and i'm quite sure they fit newage imprezas aswell, i know they don't fit after 2010 reg. The kits contains, 2 heated seat switches, and 4 x carbon fibre heated pads with wiring, the switches normally sell for £25 used, this is a brand new kit Will need at least 20 for a group buy, just gauging interest before going any further :thumb: Price will roughly be £55 per kit delivered |
I'll have a set if it goes through. But propably delivery to belgium will raise the total a bit.
|
Ok cheers bud will find out price for shipping abroad shouldn't be to much more, extra £10 think its going to be would have to be sent International Tracked & Signed for
|
I was guessing something like that About £65 ish including shipment.
That'll be fine |
Fitting instructions?
|
Subaru impreza turbo seat middle's are glued so not sure how they would fit with out leaving cover loose or having the pad show through the seat base as the base cover and foam is all in one piece and has no bars or hog rings to keep cover in place
|
Hi no there will be no retail packing as for instructions they don't provide them as these kits are for professional installation. Although I will be voting my own, with the use of Google ;-)

I've retrimmed seats before and wasn't that hard although needed a hand, can't see it being a massive job although you would need a basic knowledge of electrics or know a company who can fit these

i have to say im interested if it can be fitted without the issues ive mentioned. |
I personally have no idea, i will be in same situation as you guys, these will come with no instructions as there not mean't for the DIY market, just after market parts, and are recommended to be installed by professional
Although as mentioned i will be trying to do my own, learn as i go :wonder: |

I'd be interested depending how easy to fit. Although another problem for me is I got wide track so dccd switch is where seat switch should go lol
Why is nothing ever ever ever blooming easy lol Anyway il keep an eye on here and see what's what Ta Kev |
You sure bud the dccd switch is different to electric window switches, on the classic's 1996-2000 the dccd switch and the heated seat switches are blanked off with coin holders
See picture, black ring is where dccd switch goes, yellow ring is where heated seat switches go http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ps42b536a3.jpg |

Hi mate you had me thinking then lol just Checked and took a photo. The wide track had the updated dash with revised centre console. Dccd switch only in centre with no other blank buttons. Mirror buttons moved to drivers arm rest.
See pic. Shame as I'd lurve heated seats but not possible :( |
Ah i see, there must be another option on relocating switches
|
Aren't there any available switch blanks on the dash, by the driver's right knee?
|
Stick my name down
