White, Low mileage Excellent condition Type 20 Spec C Hawkeye MY07

SOLD>

An opportunity to own a very rare and highly regarded vehicle. A very useable power/torque band, makes this a perfect point to point enthusiast car. Whilst equally civilised for 'run of the mill' journeys too.

Despite it's JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) pedigree, it can be service and maintained using the same fluids and consumables as a UK car by UK Subaru dealers or the many Subaru specialists.

One fastidious owner from new, this car has wanted for nothing. Always correctly warmed and cooled down and treated with complete sympathy by a mature owner. This vehicle’s condition is exceptional, inside, outside and underneath http://i41.tinypic.com/wqr7go.jpg & http://i41.tinypic.com/15mlhqb.jpg . No trackday use. It has only been run on Shell Optimax or V-Power (It was mapped on optimax and only currently has one Ecutek map- However it can now be mapped for multiple maps). Only ever washed carefully using the two bucket method and detailed twice a year using Meguiar's products. Garaged every night from new.
The only evidence of use is a few minor (re-painted) stone chips to the front(bonnet edge/bumper/wings. The rear plastic trim covering the front of the rear arches have stone chip marks on them.

No pets have ever been in the car and it’s never been smoked in. The rear seats, have probably been sat in twice!

Just over 14,500 miles from new, never damaged or repaired, it is as straight as the day it rolled off the line. It has a fully documented Subaru specials service history- (http://i61.tinypic.com/2i6nzew.jpg)

Always using Fuchs(Titan) fully synthetic oil, mostly done by RCM ( http://i39.tinypic.com/2qk1qi9.jpg) , but also Powerstation & Prosport. Serviced twice a year regardless of mileage. MOT and Tax until May 2015. Sensible insurance available from knowledgeable specialist Keith Michaels(call 0208 3291150 and ask for Gary Moulson).

Supplied new by Iain Litchfield of Litchfield Imports(01684 850 999) in May 2007. Iain can confirm the original order and that he only made between 16 – 20 of these very limited editions.

Original purchase invoice: http://i62.tinypic.com/2a7he0i.jpg.

It was first registered in Japan on the 19th March 2007.

Most people on here know what the vehicle is, but for the uninitiated, here’s what you need to know:

The MY07 JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) STi has several improvements over the UK/Euro version including:

• JDM is stronger 2.0ltr UK/Europe is ‘chocolate’ 2.5ltr
• Twin scroll turbo
• Nitride coated, cross drilled crank
• 13:1 STi quick rack
• Slightly larger intercooler design
• Auto and manual intercooler spray (UK get manual activation only)
• More aggressive inlet cams

I delivered it to him because of the new farce with highway robbery that is road tax. It's taxed until May but as soon as it's sold the new buyer has to tax it and pay from the 1st of Oct. I'll only be refunded from November. So the Government get paid twice for October. Why can't Road tax now go from the day you tax it as is all online now?

SpecC_Chris 18 October 2014 07:38 PM

I know, I've lost half a month and had pay for it.
