Does anyone know where i can get a set of standard mats? After 13k miles ive worn two holes in the carpet with my cuban heels! :lol1:

Mangoletsi didnt supply any with mine and ive gave up trying to get back in touch with them as they havent returned numerous phone calls so please dont suggest them!

Was never a big fan of a blue Impreza, always had silver or black, but this looks really good, shows the shape off really well.:thumb:

Anybody see Fifth Gear tonight? WRX STi easily beat the Golf R around the track.

rob84 02 July 2015 10:46 PM

Just caught it tonight. Not being a big golf fan I prefer my sti.

bioforger 03 July 2015 05:02 PM

Hi karlos. Just styling mods for now. Probably front splitter. Side extension ect . I'm having an issue with my head unit at the moment as I have to pair the blue tooth to my phone every time I get in. It a proper pain in the behind .

I was going to have a front splitter on mine but I went to santa pod and saw a front splitter nearly rip a front bumper off at high speed so I am not going to bother now. Definately recommend the Pioneer SPH DA 120 unit, looks great and still uses all the stearing wheel controls, Plays Movies and Sat Nav via a Iphone and you can hook up a reversing camera.

I could be very interested in getting the SPH DA 120. A good mod for just over £300 considering the dealer wanted £1200 for a pioneer upgrade ! Is it just a matter of unplugging the old unit and plugging the new one in?

It is but you need a facia adapter kit + the steering wheel control lead and wiring harness adapter which is about 70 pounds

I knew it wouldnt a plug and play thing. Nothing ever is ! Well ive just called Halfrauds and they are saying £400 fitted with all leads and facia. A considrable saving of £800 going down the dealers option.
I think i might go for it :)... Im just going to find out if there is a D A B option to make it future proof.

togsy86 31 July 2015 01:53 PM

Which halfords have quoted you for the fascia and leads?

Hi guys,

Any recommendations around the midlands to upgrade the power on the new STI, what has everyone else had done and what gains are you seeing?

Anything that won't invalidate the warranty?

Thanks,

Rob

Don't think you will be able to do anything Rob as no official upgrades out (maps etc) so will end up voiding your warranty. Haven't seen any Pro R upgrades either

Looks a lot better :thumb: I could have had exactly the same on mine from halfords with leads surround and fitting for £356 but had to bring in a old head unit. Unfortunately I had a fall at work and broke two ribs and couldn't get in before Friday which was the deadline. Totally gutted as it gone up too over £400 now. Just have to wait now till they have the same offer up plus you really need an iPhone to benefit from this head unit and I'm on andriod.
