Very similar spec to mine, you will enjoy.

Be very interested to see how you get on with the ACT clutch, also very interested how the Milltek performs.

When's it going in for the work?

p1junkie 28 April 2014 12:28 PM

dropped car off at engine tuner sat so be about 6 weeks before i see it back

matt-c 28 April 2014 12:49 PM

Gonna be a nice build this. :)

p1junkie 13 May 2014 07:18 AM

billet gt35 ver 3

decided to opt for the billet gt35r with .82ar hopefully get the same power figure with running a little less boost so hoping to run around just over 2 bar peak and hopefully around 2 bar held

:thumb: What fuel do you plan to run?

matt-c 13 May 2014 04:12 PM

Yep, 2 bar is marginal on vpower

sunny1989 13 May 2014 06:13 PM

looks like a great build and spec! any chassis/braking mods etc to compliment the new powerplant?

p1junkie 13 May 2014 07:30 PM

alan/martyn seem to think 600 is a realistic figure on v power with the cosworth heads and gt35 etc
coilovers and six pots on front
4 pot rears to follow

juggers 15 May 2014 01:59 AM

nice!

p1junkie 25 May 2014 07:44 PM

mix of corbeau rrs backs and rrx base heated leather to match the spec d interior allready in there
going to go with smooth bootlid with a jdm lip spoiler
picked up a new bootlid for 30.00 and 70.00 for the spoiler

BrownPantsRacing 25 May 2014 08:58 PM

Ooooh I do like those seats! :)

I have a 2.35 / gt3582r set up but without Avcs and that runs 560bhp at 2 Bar on plain vpower so with Avcs I'd say no problem getting 600.

No issues with plain vpower.

I love the specific this project, but I'm with Alyn on the carbon dipping.
Keep up the good work mate

p1junkie 08 June 2014 06:33 AM

yep know its a bit marmite but the red manifolds never stay clean and with this its soapy sponge and leather off
was going with the red crinkle effect but a nightmare to get a uniform finish tried it and in looks like someone has sneezed and sprayed red over it

matt-c 09 June 2014 09:33 AM

6 weeks from drop off now, how's the progress with the engine.

p1junkie 09 June 2014 05:19 PM

not very far forward alan has been a bit busy and had staff off
really hoping for some progress within the next 2 weeks
