In all seriousness I think this is a great step for a civilised society. :thumb:

Jesus! I've never seen you laugh this much ever before!

On the topic, Cameron has been quite calculative on this. He knows that realistically there are less hard core Christians and more genuine gay people in this country, so he won't lose that many votes instead he'll gain more.

Clear cut politics there, David. :thumb:

ALi-B 29 March 2014 08:30 PM

This thread is gay.

< gets coat >

;)

pslewis 29 March 2014 09:16 PM

Personally, I consider the new Law to be a bit of a Bummer .......

LSherratt 30 March 2014 12:11 AM

In a church for a traditional wedding, does the Vicar now say "I can now pronounce you husband and husband/wife and wife" for gay weddings?

"Soon we may live in a world where the only people opposed to gay marriage will be gay people who are married." –Craig Ferguso

pslewis 30 March 2014 11:12 AM

Who are we to judge whether you like gold wheels or cocklinks?

Hang on, do you think that all they need is a remap? They could stand at the alter wearing det cans whilst the Vicar fiddles with their sensors .......

Yes life is just so unfair isn't it? :Whatever_

If gay people want to make a commitment through marriage then let them get on with it.

Only the terminally stupid would get upset about something that apparently doesn't affect them!

That's right, who gives a toss about it, I certainly don't. They bleat on about equality though don't they, but only see it from their own point of view. It's not for me though and doesn't affect me in any way so let them carry on.

I do however, still maintain as TH says, that it was done as a vote winner. Parliamentary time could be spent on much more important subjects rather than trivial, non important matters like this.

And your comment on terminally stupid. Can you really not accept sometimes that people are allowed differing views from yourself without you being abusing to them

gazney101 30 March 2014 01:38 PM

Its a fcuking disgrace, being gay is shame full not something to celebrate.

Broadcasting 2 blokes kissing on the news at tea time, i nearly threw up, the disgusting cnuts

No, 'they' don't bleat on about it, a tiny minority wuth an axe to grind bleat on about it!

Yes, there's a surprise. NOT! A self serving politician doing something solely to feather their own nest... oh sorry, I forgot you are a fan of them and the wonderful system we have :cuckoo:

Not when the differing views can only be held by those too stupid to see sense! If you don't like that then tough as frankly I coudln't give a sh1t whether you do or not!
