The car is to be sold complete I will not be removing any items from it.
I have never had any problems and the car runs as sweet as anything, over the last few years it gets parked up during the winter and has stayed well away from the salt for a few years now. It had an MOT in March and was taxed for 12 months in April.

This years service included new spark plugs as well as having a service and the cam belt was change last summer. The Brembo's since fitting have covered around 6k I feel and are still in top condition with very little wear. I by my own self admission am not a hard or aggressive driver so the car has never been on the track or driven hard like many examples out there. Again the wheels and tyres are a couple of years old with little wear on them, I drop winter wheels on to use until the spring so when the car has been layed up the Rota's have been in storage, I only covered 2.5k in the car from mot to mot last time.

As many of you may know I have been busy under the bonnet, please don't let the polished parts scare you it is very easy to maintain and a quick hour now and then is all that is needed.

If you search against my user name and drop in posts started in the Gallery you will see the car from day 1 and watch how it grew into where we are today plus all my pictures are still hosted so all will be available to see.

Here's a thread on Impreasport detailing under bonnet activity.

Mate, hope you've got something very special to replace this as you'll seriously regret selling it. Classics in this condition aren't easy to replace! This is one of the nicest cars on here IMO

Good luck and hope you don't mind me cluttering your thread up.

Silver Scooby Sport 02 June 2011 07:48 PM

Thanks James and yes I know what your saying, it has taken me a whole year to come to this decision trust me on that... it's not an easy one to make but for me now I feel it is the right one, and no problem buddy you post away I don't mind at all.

This is a VERY clean example, if your interested then don't hang about, it won't be here long. Not many classics like this left, even the underneath of the car is immaculate. Hope it goes to a good home.

You two should have a shoot together before it gets sold.

Thanks everyone I really appreaciate the great comments on the car, it just goes to show how great this forum can be especially when 99% of the research needed for the mods on the car and the bulk of the parts have been learned about and many have been sourced on here :)

I do have a few other parts that I will be selling, polished manifold, new age and classic OEM DV's and throttle body all polished plus cam belt covers off mine but details for all of those items will follow plus after the car goes I'll have the winter wheels as well available.

Swiss posting on the honeymoon !!! is that a wise move there pal :D

evil.soup 04 June 2011 12:14 AM
