Ordered for my STi 9 yesterday, arrived today :thumb: got a couple of days off so gonna have a crack at painting and fitting tomorrow.

Tissy 24 October 2006 09:18 PM

Which one did you order Dave.

Once fitted i would like to have a look if you don't mind.

Simon (SJSDesign) has also done some graphics on the car now, really pleased with the results.

Hope you are well.

Steve

Ordered in primer as I may have a play with colours, probably end up black but you never know :) I'll drop you a PM once fitted and pop round or something :thumb:

Did you go full monty on the graphic's in the end or something a bit more subtle? Look forward to seeing them...might have a sneaky drive passed your place for a lookie hehe.

Be interested to see what you think in terms of quality & fit as I have an STi V9 and was thinking about making a late purchase !:)

Has anyone tried one of the WRXMY05 ones on a WRX Wagon yet?

Dave_68 25 October 2006 12:51 PM

I'll post up when done, painted this morning in satin black, probably gonna try and fit tomorrow...Off car quality seems great for £75.

All I done was rub it down lightly, used a little degreaser, then a can of Holts satin black from Halfords. Lightly dusted the paint on in 4/5 coats. Not sure how it'll stand up to chipping but It's easy enough to take back off and paint again....

Neanderthal 26 October 2006 09:19 AM

I'm almost tempted to have a go myself :)
Cheers Dave!

Dave_68 26 October 2006 11:07 AM

You can't really bugger it up, if you don't like it you can always get it done properly...Go for it :thumb:

there's no rush if you miss the GB because you can pick them up off htautos ebay for £69 eBay.co.uk: Subaru Impreza STi Style Splitter / Front Lip Spoiler (item 200038767690 end time 26-Oct-06 21:59:28 BST)

Driving lights?

Sorry if this is something everyone but me knows, but can you tell me about the lights you have fitted in the spoiler? I have HIDs on my MY05 JDM STi which sorts the dip beam, but the main beams could be better - so some decent driving lights seem like a good idea.

Where are yours from, assuming they're driving lights?

Davethebutcher 01 November 2006 10:46 AM

Last Orders Please !!!!!!!!!
Offer closes 5.30 PM TODAY.

Yes they are PIAA driving lights (and very effective too) they came on the car when I bought it but know you can get them from Performance Subaru for about £350.
