Technically you didn't .... but you're just being a bit too pedantic (for a change  )

Better??

Class. Laughing at an already enraged muppet is a brilliant way to fire them up even more.

More stress for them = less stress for you.

Of course it all falls over when they pull out an Uzi......

:D I found that the best way to aggrevate someone who's pi5sed you off/cut you up etc, is to tap one of your temples with an index finger, whilst frowning, shaking your head in contempt and mouthing the word "THINK!"

Bringing their entire intelligence into question - Woooooooooo does it wind em up!! :D

Slight digression here, but i quite often like to wind up burberry cap wearing chavscum in their modded-up Novas/Corsas/Saxos etc for no reason other than that they are chavs.

When approaching them in slow traffic i point at their car out of the window and laugh (keeping eye contact), as they get closer I follow them with my finger and keep pointing at them - still laughing. It really winds them up, you see them getting all angry and "aggressive".

I'm easily amused. :D

Or just thick skin. :D

I've had my fair share of pi$$ taking over the years so feel it's only right to redress the balance occasionally.

Tailgating, first one for ages :D

5.30 am, taking off from the lights, leisurely speed, getting up to around 35 mph soon after the lights, and this w@nker drives about an inch from my rear numberplate.

I then slow to exactly 30 mph (not 28 AP Senior;)). He doesn't get the message and tries to overtake me on a normal 30 mph road. By now I'm pretty pissed off, so just floor it near the next speed zone leaving him out there. Get to junction 10a roundabout way in front, but close enough for him to see me wave out the window as I'm flying around the roundabout and onto the clear dual carriageway to junction 10.

Once onto the m1 ive eased off considerably on the old speed and match the flow of traffic :)

Keeping at an average speed, was thinking to myself if matey was going southbound as well. Lo and behold golf man catches me up only by the m25 turn off (3 junctions later ;)). It's obvious he's thrashing the crap out of the car to catch me up, then tries lane switching in moderate traffic to get past me, which somehow doesn't work ;)

Lane 3 which I'm in clears off in front of me. Matey behind tries the old tailgate again with flashing lights, I'm doing 80 mph and the lane has only just cleared.

Downchanging to 4th then flipping the bird, just leave him and his heap standing.

Why do these arses in their **** heaps act like this? Want to tailgate me get a decent car

Iwan 27 July 2004 09:55 PM

Not a tailgater but a total knobjockey none the less. Coming out of work yesterday, i went round a big-ish roundabout and onto a dual carriageway. Lane 1 had slow moving trucks so i'm in lane 2 following a Passat TDi.

On exiting the roundabout, Mr Passat decides to "boot it" (lots of black smoke) off up the dual carriageway, i follow at a couple of car lengths. On reaching 75ish, he decides to immediately slam on the brakes and bring it back down to 55ish.

He then sits in lane 2 matching the speed of a van in lane 1 for about half a mile. He eventually gets past and pulls across to lane 1, i pass him safely and pull over into lane 1 in front doing 70ish. No hand signals from me, i din't even look across at him. Passat man then decided to roar up behind and overtake again. :cuckoo:

This time "i don't see him" as he's now in my blind spot, so i gradually ease up the speed until he gives up. Then resume my cruise at 70mph.

Why do they do it? :Whatever_

JDM 28 July 2004 08:41 AM

Don't forget next time you start to get angry at these tailgaiters and brake light dabbers remember we are all human, they have a mother too.

The difference is they either never knew her or are sleeping with the old tart.

Tell me, just who is the chav scum here mate?

Sounds like you are just being a knob

Tarquin Po 28 July 2004 09:22 AM

Hmm, just read all this. One point for you AP

Can't always move over, and if I'm doing appropriate speed I shouldn't have to
Might one be so bold as to suggest that one reads the Highway Code?

TelBoy 28 July 2004 09:23 AM

Or better still, Roadcraft.

Stueyb 28 July 2004 09:40 AM

I had a road rage incident on the way to work this morning. At the roundabout some muppet in the right hand lane wanted straight on (one with a big orange light thing on top no less) and I just say red and drove like a loon. In the end he waved me past but I then realise I was just as bad for acting like such a tw*t.

It wasnt big and it wasnt clever but I just snapped, and I admit for about 2 minutes I was indeed quite dangerous. I actually thought about getting out and apologising I was that embarrased, but I deemed it a bad idea.

I dont know why this upset me so much but I dont half feel a NED for doing it. Lesson learnt there

Aaquil 29 July 2004 07:01 PM

Tailgaters on the motorway get a screen full of my windscreen washer fluid before I pull over. Keep on spraying it on your screen and it ends up on theirs. Top seeing them having to put their wipers on. They soon get the message and back off.

Nothing winds people up more. lol.

Stressy tw&t.

Thats excellent that mate, one day you'll piss someone off and find you can't disapear off in your car, ie. have to stop at traffic lights, stall your car or something then get pulled out of your car and have the **** beaten out of you, or worse....

A lot of people get a false sense of security when in their car.... Remember You never know who's in the car or who you're pissing off!

I admit I've given people the hand signal before, got stuck at lights and had a confrontation with someone (who looked a lot smaller sat in his car!) it's just not worth it...

One of my mates is doing a 4-year stretch for jumping out of his car and smashing a young cocky c*nts face in, no ****, he broke the drivers window and wrenched the lad out through it, after beating him up he jumped up and down on his chest a few times - he fractures the guys skull, put him in a coma, at the time he was originally charged with attempted murder but it was brought down to a section 18....
