Did you not want to reverse the inlet? I see the cooler has been flipped presumably to shorten the pipework so thought it would have been a logical move

Love the white on white

cjquicksilver 30 October 2013 06:34 AM

We did think about it but opted to keep the inlet the oem way

Time for a bit of an update....

The car has now had complete HEL braided lines throught, so all the oem lines have gone, also the AP bias valve has been fitted and plumbed in, the loom has been custom made taking out all the unwanted wires!
The plumbed in extinguisher lines have been mounted also.

My new suspension has arrived in the way of 3 way adjustable AST coilovers so they are going to be set up and on over Christmas! So getting there slowly! Should be ready for japfest I hope! Fuel lines and stainless cooler pipes next on the list!

Some pics

All the un needed wires from the oem loom

Just went through the whole thread and it's looking really nice now mate :thumb:

Have you ever considered going down the 6 speed route? As it will compensate the power and the thrashing at the track days :D

Regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

cjquicksilver 28 January 2014 10:10 PM

Yes mate next year the plan is 600bhp with a sequential box, but with the price the engine is going to cost I may have to run a spec c 6 speed Dccd box until I can save the 16k for the medina sequential

johnnybon 29 January 2014 08:35 AM

Great build mate £16000 for a sequential wow would like one but that's toooo much cash are they really worth that ? :thumb:

cjquicksilver 29 January 2014 05:46 PM

They are if used properly I just to work out wat the car is going to be used for as I still want to use it on the road etc so a sequential wouldn't be the best choice for road going car etc so still thinking about the plans at the moment, will get the engine built first and go from there, all in due time :-)

IainMilford 29 January 2014 10:19 PM

Looking good Chris :)

Ah ok, I guess you could rebuild the 6 speed with stronger internals so that it will handle the power aswell as not be too much of a problem on the road?

cjquicksilver 30 January 2014 06:50 PM
