Thanks buddy :thumb:

Fitting was easy, just trying to source the part of the clock spring loom to attach to the airbag from the yellow plug!

Getting the old wheel off was a bitch but brute force conquers all :D

Horn works, it's just one spade connector, if I fail to find the connector I'll just connect a resistor and make do without the airbag! Chuffed with it though to be fair :)

Here's a wee sneak preview of the next mod, courtesy of Ryan aka Prodriverules :notworthy: to be fitted before RallyDay next weekend :thumb:

Tidy job, love my roof flap, better than aircon and a lot lighter:thumb:

frayz 14 August 2012 10:49 PM

OMG man, i cant believe you cut a hole in your roof!

Wasnt you scared?

What if it went wrong?

How do you do that?

What if you needed a wee while cutting?

AWESOME!!!! :thumb:

mervil 14 August 2012 11:06 PM

Well as it happens Mr Frayz, I was very scared, had to have 6 whiskeys before I started! I followed a guide written by some crazy Essex boiiii who's into his Cossies like innit ;)

If it went wrong I'd just buy a new car and start again :D

Good effort on the roof vent, I could never have the nerve for that.

Love Classics with that wheel combination. :thumb:
