PMs replied to :)

@drischnie: Regular price would be £103.80 (£3.80 to cover paypal charges). International shipping I would ask another £5 to allow for a 'signed for' service and insurance.

The 112mph/180kph speed limiter that all unofficial Japanese imports have is removed with these chips

drischnie 01 December 2009 07:49 PM

So 108,80 complete, how can i pay and so on? or should i write a PM to you?

Major_Sarcasm 02 December 2009 08:09 AM

PM me with your car's details my friend and we can discuss it.

Neilg7777 02 December 2009 06:39 PM

Neil

333hpo 02 December 2009 08:51 PM

james

Major_Sarcasm 03 December 2009 11:56 AM

All PMs replied to and all chips are now spoken for with a couple to post out :(

If I can get any more, I may do another (limited) run depending on interest. Unfortunately, the chips are in short supply worldwide.

drischnie 07 December 2009 11:51 PM

today i installed the chip. but the car "only" pushes 13,7 psi peak and maximum 12,3 - 13,0 psi hold ... :-(

ariser 08 December 2009 06:54 AM

I have same chip in my 93 wrx and it boosts well past 1 bar wich is 14.5psi(my gauge stops at 1) i think so something wrong there. Did you give right details of car to major as i think there is 2 different maps for different scoobys depending on turbo etc.

Major_Sarcasm 08 December 2009 08:08 AM

Definitely the correct chip. It should make around ~16psi.

Hmm. It could be a tired actuator or boost control solenoid. Can you swap out the solenoid with a friend and try that?

drischnie 08 December 2009 10:14 AM

i didnt think its the solenoid, cause 15 minutes before install, i had about 1,0 bar with my 6K-STi-V2 ECU.... :-(

k900wrx 08 December 2009 11:45 AM

hi bud will this fit my 1993 wrx import??? and more importantly do you have any left!! lol
cheers

Well, that is odd. You're the only one that has low boost like that. Let me have a word with my more technical friend and I'll get back to you. Don't worry, I won't ignore you. We'll figure it out. It might be easier to do this via email, use the address you PayPal'd me with. First of all we have to ensure that the map is definitely engaged. Email me with exactly how you installed the chip.

Sorry bud, none left. I may get some more if I can find some.

ariser 09 December 2009 06:41 AM

Shame all chips have gone Steve, really has made a difference to my car. Still going nicely after i got it off you all those months back. Hope you do find some more Fujitsu chips mate :)

Major_Sarcasm 09 December 2009 07:42 AM

Thanks, Aris. I'm pleased your car's still going strong :D

Major_Sarcasm 16 February 2010 03:32 PM

I've managed to get hold of some more chips. Good news for the few people who missed out on the last lot. I know I said I wouldn't get any more, but these came up and they're hard to find these days!

Check out my signature for a link to the new FAQ. Loads of people asking the same kinds of questions last time, so I thought it'd be easier for everyone if I made a list of the most commonly asked questions and answers. It goes without saying that if you have questions that aren't covered, PM me and I'll do my best to give you a clear answer ASAP.

lockie_2000_turbo 16 February 2010 07:55 PM

you have pm

Major_Sarcasm 16 February 2010 08:13 PM

Back atcha mate.

Jamz_ 16 February 2010 08:27 PM

Hmm quite interested in one of these, but dunno if it will do much for my import classic thats running 310bhp (engine)

Has
-Headers, up pipe, decat, magnex exhaust
-Apexi Induction kit
-Front mount
-Oil Cooler

Standard WRX turbo i think (not checked whats on it), standard injectors

Also has a manual boost controller, but will probably remove that

What you think?

Major_Sarcasm 16 February 2010 08:55 PM

Well, it may be running 310 bhp but how safely at the moment? Your car isn't mapped for UK fuel, so if you're running non-standard boost, you're risking your engine.

The chip will give you similar power, but with a fuel/ignition map to suit.

Jamz_ 16 February 2010 09:42 PM

Its a 93 so is mapped for uk fuel ;) (they didnt have the high ron at that point)

Think I'll have one off you, will also need the cradle as well as mine doesn't have one.

Will be able to sell a few bits to fund it now lol.

Major_Sarcasm 16 February 2010 11:07 PM

Ahh, no probs. Still safer with one of these maps! I've replied to your PM my friend.

Thats nothing. When Scott T was selling these a few years back through ebay, they hit £400 a go at one point. I didnt pay far off that myself when I had one at the time. Luckily I made a fair bit back when I sold it on.
