I just sold my WRX Wagon and bought an Alfa 156 2.4Jtd Sportwagon.
I will let you know we get on but so far it is excellent, did 300 miles at the weekend averaging 80mph and got 47mpg.
Laughing all the way to the bank.

Plus i get to listen to your scoobs and it doesn't cost me a penny!

I've just agreed sale on my P1 as I need a family car for our 9 month old daughter ( wont drive round with her in due to the maniacs that just have to race a scoob at all costs everytime they see one) She comes with an endless supply of nappies and stuff so i needed a big boot.
The scoob just aint practical when it comes down to it (not my 2 door version anyway) plus I got a great deal.

Ended up buying an Audi S8 which is a fantastic drive :)

An Audi RS4 for quality and practicality.
OR R34 with 500bhp:rooleyes: for drifts.

Holden Monaro - This is why.
There are three reasons why the car is popular here. Firstly, it's the re-birth of a motor sport icon from the sixties. Secondly, it is an attractive coupe based on a very highly regarded sedan. Finally, Aussies have been starved of a locally manufactured high performance RWD coupe since the mid-seventies. The Commodore sedan is the top selling car here and can be purchased with a 300kW Corvette engine (about 400HP, I think) and it also has great handling and braking to match. It is currently top of the tree in V8 Supercar racing and consistenly beats the Ford competition. I drove a Commodore V8 with the high performance engine up the side of Mount Hotham in Australia, and had no trouble at all keeping up with three hard-driven cars, an Audi S8, BMW M5 and Mercedes E55. £23,000 !!!!!
