What was the bloke meant to do ? stay there whilst his pet, most likely smaller and weaker is attacked by a much bigger dog which was in the charge of a young girl who couldnt control it.

People drown every year saving dogs from frozen lakes or the sea because they are so attached to them, I personally couldnt stand by and watch our fairly small dog being attacked by a GSD, I would probably risk personal injury to save him.

The Police have probably just got round to it as in reality it isnt probably top priority as its already happened and nobody died, it is, as has been mentioned two dogs fighting and a bit of a scratch but I suspect its probably on a list of stuff they have to close off.

Sounds like you are taking appropriate measures to avoid it happening again, I do feel quite strongly about this having had ours attacked by a Weimeraner that was off the lead and a Staff that the lady holiding it couldnt control, both were on leads and I ended up with a Staff wrapped round my legs !

To be fair, I don't think Lee has ever tried to defend her dogs actions or the mistakes that were made on her and her daughters part.

More the inept way the police completely fail to follow this up properly. It probably keeps coming up on some coppers "to do" list but can't quite be arsed to pop round and wave the naughty stick.

If you'd overtaken someone one a junction they'd have you hung by the nipples by sundown. Least they did with me (apart from the nipple bit obviously)

No point explaining police process on here.
