I am dropping £1000 to £8900 untill tuesday 4th jan! I will then be returning to original price, and advertised on pistonheads and autotrader also.
The history and receipts in the folder are second to none with Enginetuner carrying every bit of work out at the highest standard possible.

Call me on 07815195013, cheers Scott.

SOLD

TYPE R BRAD 05 January 2011 04:33 PM

How many views and not one person come to see and drive in the flesh! I am convinced it will sell as soon as seen. I appreciate the more heavily modified a car is the smaller the select audience is thats why i know that when someone is finally in the market for something that had so much money time and effort they will buy it. Am cool just hanging in there. Will be uploading on to pistonheads soon when not so busy.

Might sound stupid, but Iv got a funny feeling that it can sell in excess of £10k if you........ ...Wrap the green bodywork bits in Vinyl Matt black & paint the wheels in e.g gunmetal grey or something similar. IMO 75% of choosing a car is visual, on how it looks & though your build spec is awesome I feel that it lacks that initial ooomph. Just my opinion but I would do the above & re-advertise it at £10,500 ono

Tbh been talking to people in the scooby world and am seriously thinking of breaking:cry:, am going to give a month maybe 2 on Pistonheads at £10600 to see what response i get then will break, but will want the full engine, 6- speed ect confirmed as sold before i break, so if any of you may want any of this car then watch this space. Also if i do decide to break then i will want the lucky person who wants the engine to come and road test it to prove how healthy the whole thing is:thumb:

Such a shame but seems to be the way these cars end up when modified to this level!

EH52WRX 07 January 2011 08:17 PM

The hardest thing to sell will be your engine.

Malecky 07 January 2011 08:20 PM

I agree rickya...about the matt black.

I would buy it but it's too soon for me and I would have to arrange transport. I think it looks good, but I would give it straight to a friend of mine who would wrap it in 3M matt black.

Don't brake it just, wait a month or two for me. :thumb::D

555_STI 07 January 2011 08:46 PM

I think its fantastic just the way it is, don't break it!

I moved from the UK to Sweden a while ago and have been following the for sale thread since you started it, if there was the slightest chance I thought I could managed to get it registered here without returning it to near standard, I would have ripped your hand/arm/shoulder off.

Something I didnt think about unfortunately when I chose to move away from good old England, I need to find a decent standard scoob and then throw piles of cash at it after its in

Scott i have tk say i am shocked it's not sold but as you has said very few people will want a car of this spec and it's either wrong time of year or price is wrong. You have to remember albeit most has been replaced people will still go back to it has 130,000 on the clock, it is IMO not the most appealing colour and you are banking on someone as you say buying it for it's performance and driveability. Regarding the price when you dropped the price to under 9k I think for me and please don't be offended but I thought you had priced it right, it has run 550bho with NoS but i sure you said its been removed taking that in mind it's more like a 500bho car similar specd to my old one which I sold in 5 weeks, similar mileage, similar spec runing similar power and needs must but it sold after I dropped the price to 8250 within 2 weeks, again please no offense but i think you will struggle to get 10k for it unless you split it for parts. Hey I maybe wrong but and for your sake i hope I'm wrong but think it's the price that is stoppig the sale.

I really do wish you the bet as you are a genuine guy from the deings and pm's I have had with you in the past and it is clearly a well looked after car so no one should be concerned about that, good luck mate

Also pal get a link up as been dreaming of what car to get next and I didnt come across yours, get the link up and pop it in the impreza, impreza wrx, impreza sti and the road legal track car bit. Maximum exposure mate and hopefully it will save it getting stripped

fixup1982 10 January 2011 07:31 PM

Does the car have gauges? ie oil pressure , oil temp ect... As i think in a impreza of your spec you really need to know what is going on in the engine bay.

Good luck with the sale :)

Ps just seen at the bottom of your spec you do have a water, oil gauge is that an all in one unit then?

Cheers Steve, thanks for support in my sale mate. I always think a car is worth what someone is willing to pay and in fairness bud if my memory serves me right your old car had covered around 60-80k since build and is still going strong, whereas mine only done around 4k which is still fresh, so the 128k on the clock is just a number as virtually everything been replaced or upgraded.

Checked on pistonheads and your right mine is not listed yet, been told 2 working days to get it up as some prob with my account but apparently ok now:wonder:.
