You can't see the significance of that? Ha ha ha.

By the way, reading this thread about how much money you make unblocking other peoples' turds out of their toilets has been quite amusing. The best bit is you even compare your salary to other people on here you don't even know. You are a bigger dick than I had originally thought possible (and that is saying something). To top it all off, you drive a knackered S40 and have never driven an Audi, beamer or any of the other cars you cut and paste about... you are simply a JOKE!

Can't you get the hint: people keep banning you, they hate you, now go away. People reply to your threads because each time they give you more rope to hang your self, and it gives them a good laugh.:hjtwofing

When the CSL has road legal tires its SLOWER than an RS4.
Give the R8 race tires and it will slap the CSL silly whilst still being comfortable and luxurious.

R8 cost only a little more than a CSL did brand new ;)

A porker would imply a person that is doing the porking. You arent doing the porking as you said you liked a porker hence you being porked. Have fun, just wear protection, you can never be too careful these days, especially in the circles you socialise in  ;)

I DO circulate in circles... you however cannot 'circulate'... unless you're referring to the circulation in your right hand :D

M3 CSL = A road legal track car on semi slicks, simple as that.
RS4 = Fast luxorious 4 door car on road tires
R8 = Luxurious premium sports car on road tires

When the R8 got tested on semi slicks, like ALL M3 CSL times are the R8 is FASTER!!!!!!!!!!

Plumbers can't spell:lol:

The only thing you can prove with your comments above is that the R8 is indeed more costly than the faster M3 CSL.

The SLOWER R8 is nearly £20k more than the FASTER M3 CSL. The faster CLS also comes with Cup tyres as standard, the R8 doesn't have that option. So standard for standard, the production R8 is SLOWER than the FASTER production M3 CSL. But if you think £20K is small change, add that to the R8 list price, then 997 turbo or GT3 would also whip the R8's arse. Spend £20K in modifying the M3 CSL to the same list price as the R8, the R8 would be even more of a joke.

Two facts stand out here:
1. Standard for standard the M3 CSL "slaps the R8" silly around the 'ring! FACT!!
2. Audi have yet to come up with a faster car than BMW. FACT!!

whoa there boy. Go check out the other R8 threads I made today. The Audi R8 was faster than the 997turbo round their racetrack. And the R8 can come with any tyre you specify. Get it right ;)

Would that be Porsche who have just bought a major stake in VW who OWN Audi?

Triple turbo so what audi is on quad turbo diesels. The difference between audi and mercedes diesels is that audi's are cleaner, more powerful and have a more beautiful power curve.

Audi TDI's....head and shoulders above the competition:thumb:

Obviously too busy slagging everyone else off to see the point of my post.
Audi are lagging behind if they are only now producing an engine that has to have it's torque restricted - Merc have had to do this since the start of the Millenium.
The power that the triple turbo will no doubt at least be similar to a quad turbo, but 3 turbos will no doubt be lighter than 4 - weight saving is the best way to better handling
As for the comment about the Audi being cleaner, more powerful and (I loved this bit) "a more beautiful power curve". Have you driven the latest Merc diesels? (I do so on a regular basis - I service them & have regular access to my mates A6 3.0TDi Quattro for a comparison - nothing in it really). I MOT many cars, and can assure you that a well kept Merc is easily as clean as a well kept Audi, just as a poorly kept example of either will smoke like a chain smoker in a B&H factory.
And I know it isn't a direct link to "the competition", but be assured, barring mechanical failures, Peugeot will beat the Audi's at LeMans (The way that Merc are the pace setters in the DTM)

TonyBurns 05 June 2007 06:15 PM

Does that mean that audi are now fitting particular filters as standard to their cars.....

Tony:p

Tiresome idiot, your stupidity is endless. Audi are famous for giving free cars to celebs. For example Beckham's BMW got nicked (cos its desirable) and Audi gave him a free Q7 (note he didn't buy one when he had the chance). It is a well known fact (to non-idiots unlike you) that Audi are (in)famous for giving away LOADS of cars to celebs for free. Thats cos these celebs won't pay money for them. Range Rover on the other hand never give freebies.

So if you see a celeb driving an Audi its cos its free. If you see a celeb driving a Rangey its cos they think its a good car and paid money for it.

Another example: "Ex Wallabies rugby captain John Eales was also spotted at Audi, along with Superfish V2.0 Grant Hackett and ex-cricketer Mark Waugh. All three are counted as Audi Ambassadors who get free cars in exchange for publicising the brand. Other celebs who've enjoyed similar Audi relationships include Superfish V1.5 Ian Thorpe, fashion designer Collette Dinnigan – who dresses Audi's motor show models - and ex-Wallaby winger Matthew Burke."

Its also true that Audi made the gayest car in the world. The top ten contenders for gay car of the year award included Audi Allroad, Audi A4 Cabriolet and Audi TT Roadster, of which the Audi TT was voted Gay Car of the Year 2004. Will the new TT follow the same foot steps?
