LOL. I think they are paying AL not to buy one.

Did anyone else find that A6 ad saying they filed twice as many patents for the new A6 compared with the space shuttle stupid? Pathetic! What kind of person likes that kind of marketing.

Doctors and other such professionals of middle aged men, who are the A6's number one customers.

The A6 isnt outselling both the 5 series and E-class back in germany for no reason you know :thumb:

I see an Audi A3 "S-line" and think newly qualified sales rep, probably sells clothes lines or pegs to hotels, has a fetish for cufflinks and tie pins and a brown tongue from chumming the boss. Chose the upturned shopping trolley in favour of the Vauxhall or Ford because of the badge. Probably only has friends in work but makes out he's always on the go with his great social life...

Then I see the Audi A4 'S-line and think senior sales rep, been selling clothes lines and pegs for a few years now and often hits target. He too has a fetish for cufflinks and tiepins and also cider with ice in the glass... Has a well licked bum and gets moist from using his bluetooth handsfree whenever possible...

He got the car because he thinks that people not in the know might mistake it for an RS4, which even his bosses bosses boss couldn't afford the company car tax on if he sold all the pegs in the world, twice. He too chose his rep wagon because of the badge but little did he realise that it's still a rep wagon driven by saddos who cant help but come wandering aimlessly onto Subaru forums bigging up their peg rep mobiles... Amen

Isn't most of the NASA work state funded without competition and most probably in secrecy. I suspect most things they develop don't need the protection of a patent, hence they don't bother. Sounds good on the advert though.

I see an subaru impreza and think of Gazza boy standing proud next to his machine infront of his council house with his pitbull dog, "Killa". His pikey GF "Sally-Anne-Jo" clutches to her pram with one hand, and to her swollen womb with the other. Little "Billy-Jo" will soon have a little sister called "Gucci". Gazza and Sally-Anne-Jo have already bought loads of adidas and reebok clothes for gucci, just like they did for little Billy-Jo.

Gazza loves his Impreza he does, and it sure shows. He flies round 30mph zones doing 90 and round 50 zones 140mph. Gazza loves his impreza like he loves going to the pub. All his life consists of his fags, booze, and impreza.

Gazza dreams of a big BHP impreza but has no way of paying for it as hes on benefits. He therefore decideds that once gucci is born he's gonna add on to his family with a little "prada", "Louis Vuitton" and "Porsche". That way the governement will give him a bigger house and more money, which he can spend on the impreza! Result!

Impreza owners and the labour party, match made in heaven!

You have to hand it to Gazza 90mpg in a 30mpg zone, are you sure he is not driving a Audi diesel, great fuel consumption anyway

:lol1: thats actually pretty funny for Audilover - and sadly that is the stereo-type for impreza drivers these days - true in many cases as well!

Funnilly enough, that reminded me of someone I know who is a bit like that, competetive and career focused, I then tried to remember what they drive and its an A4 diesel S line, and there was me going to berate you for being so prejudiced but I think you actually got it spot on !

cursed bat 12 April 2007 09:32 PM

Hands up if you've seen the newish VW "power of understatement" tv advert?

You never see what the red car he drives is, but whats the betting the flash 'go getter' who chucks his shades to the doorman just got out of an 'Audi A4 S-line' before meeting his cooler understated self in the revolving doors? lol!

Yes, I have an A3 S line, yes I'm in sales and yes I wear cufflinks. I also have a 350Z,and a WRX and I also own a number of properties both here and abroad. I am quite happy with my choice of car/lifestyle and find your comments about Audi drivers f**king hilarious :thumb:

Please keep it up as it serves as a good break from counting up how much I'm going to make this month as I'm well over target. Now where's that Deluxe Peg bag sample.......
