Oh and I love people desperately posting 'cute' pictures of their killer pets in order to win the public sympathy vote back! :lol1:

I was attacked by a Police dog as a kid, next door was a dog handler for the Police and he had two massive Alsations, 'Blue' and 'Caesar', it was Caesar that attacked me, however he wanted to make love not war and tried to mount me, the only scars I have were mental, the first sexual encounter I ever had was with a bloody Alsation, have to say, I had worse in Kavos.

I didn't know what the randy fooker was doing, I thought it was some kind of Conga, it wasnt until his owner shouted at him he got down, he then went and shagged his bed (the dog that is).

Maybe we should drop some Viagra in the dogs water to take their mind of ripping peoples faces off ?

I suggest you google 'pig' and 'English bull terrier' attacks. One is bacon incarnate and the other is known for attacking people, getting Princess Anne fined and making Tiggs look like a hypocritical idiot on SN :lol1:

They both got pilloried in the press for being blindingly obviously stupid too.

yes - but its rare. I have been at EBT shows with hundreads of the bloody things and there is always a number that are causing trouble. I even showed one of mine at Crufts years ago and the one in the next kennel was a psycho.

I have also been to lurcher shows/events and, unless you are a rabbit doing 30mph, you are in greater danger from falling asteroids than the average dog there.

yep, bad parenting like this is a factor in kids being attacked by pets...:nono:

Jamo 28 September 2006 05:46 PM

would never leave it alone with the kids (unlike the lurchers) and could never walk it off the lead with other dogs around. aso all of my children (and me) have had small bites done by accident in rough play - the only damage the lurchers have ever done is when they ran into me when chasing each other.

now he's dead i would NEVER have another - in fact, i burried his lead with him and now dont own a dog lead. The lurchers simply do not require them, the EBT was never allowed off it.

B9GLY 28 September 2006 07:08 PM

you should never leave a child alone with any dog, that would be bad parenting to!

J4CKO 28 September 2006 08:21 PM

For the Dogs sake in most cases.

You see, the problem we have in all this is that you have no understanding whatsoever of just how safe that baby is.

And that's without even considering that shaggy is there taking the picture.

That dog would most likely lay down its life to protect that baby if circumstances dictated. Rottweilers have many breed specific traits, but unprovoked aggression (towards people or other animals) is not one of them. Unfortunately, as with all other breeds there are always exceptions to the rule.

Not sure, it depends if they think dangerous breeds of dogs are good pets??:wonder: :hjtwofing

Jamo 01 October 2006 05:25 PM

I have walked the dog around a packed car boot today and only one moron came upto me and questioned why I had a rottie for a pet.

I let the dog do the talking, he licked his hand rubbed up against him for a cuddle, he just said oh. and walked away.

bet he felt a right ****.
