Chris, cheers for a briliant day! I had a great drive out even though I did loose you all for most of the day!
Did anyone else take advantage of the outstanding value at the cafe at the first stop? I got a bacon and sausage sandwich, doughnut and a can of coke for £2.60 which was nice as the sandwich alone was supposed to be £2.20!! Just a quick note whilst I'm on, I think it was Renrag and his mate in the Puma who came past me, I backed off to let you past cos I didn't want to embarass you any more! ;0 Bob, Fiesta SI |
Chris,
Many thanks for today. VERY well organised, superb route, first class respect for the 30mph zones, it must go down as one of the best ever meets. Nice of you to demonstrate your ballet skills with the little spin right in front of me, which I suppose is funny now you look back on it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif. Count us in on the next one. All the best, Otis. |
Chris,
Yeah I agree, it was very well organised and a good, safe, fun day. Thanks to all who came it was nice to meet some new faces. Count me in for the next one too http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Scotty. |
Ditto, but next time wear a Tutu http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
|
Chris,
Top day out, very well organised, even your 180 was carried out with style http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif! Hope to see you all at the next meet. Matt |
Thanks Guys, Must admit - it was a well good day out. It was great to see so many peeps turn up and now I can put a face to many of the names on the BBS, although I am appalling at remembering everyones proper names. Sorry Simon or was it Bob...... It is always easier to look and back & laugh on 180 degree spins when the damage is nil. If I had taken my front bumper out on the verge I would have had a big sad on ...it'll teach me not to back off for Nissan Micras and then try and get a good corner in going downhill. Can't wait for the next one. Cheers Chris C. |
