Is your inlet manifold a genuine or a copy?
I've been looking at them for some time, they seem to be identical only considerably cheaper, I'm very tempted. |
Ciaran, Thanks for the heads up we'll have a look :thumb:
Gaz, its a copy that we re-did the welds on before fitting as they weren't the best. |

ohhh james I cannot believe you believed me lol battery hasn't been forgot just not ordered it yet till needed the varley red top battery will sit on passenger chassis leg we already tested mine you silly sausage:)
ciaran we ran these idler type wheels on all our builds and never have a issue infact they work very well and smaller sizes means more room in a already compact area the larger ones wouldn't hurt but simply wouldn't fit in places we have them gazney manifold is a copy of the magnus one we had to re do all the welds as before even fitting seen cracks and its not the best stuff to weld ether also converted it to dbw opposed to cable with this done its been perfect and tested to a nice 754bhp on rcm dyno on a previous car we built so were more than happy with it specially considering the price as for fitment yes fits spot on we do use the cosworth full Teflon tumbler bodies thou which massively helps with temps also these aren't so cheap:( |
That's fantastic build. What spec is the engine?
I'm off to buy a lottery ticket... |

Was grand once I fitted a new bigger pully. Build is looking awesome Also glad you hadn't forgotten a battery |
Look forward to the mapping as its a strong engine :D

600 minimum should be on the card. 700 on meth or race fuel should we go that way.
So am I Banny. Be glad to get it out. Fingers crossed hoping to get to a sprint round before the end of the season too. Almost time to try to map it again. Few little niggles holding us up such as this Attachment 33401 But fingers crossed should be on the trailer and down to see Martin for a map this week with a quick stop to A Line to make sure the car goes in a straight line. Hoping for another update soon! |

She moves under her own power. Quick spin round the block to build temp etc to check fans and a few things.

She is very stiff ................. wheyyy ;)
Attachment 32145 Put a few miles on it under a running in map and just sorting a few little niggles mainly around the wide wheels touching under load in a few places. |
There's some impressive machinery appearing from that stable lately :thumb: :luvlove:

First trip out yesterday with Matty and the boys from MB Developments, made it to the MSOC day in the morning, Race wars for an hour in the afternoon and then onto MSL for an hour too while clocking some miles on actuator boost to get some seat time.

Cheers,
Few more from a little run out, on the strip set up, no smokey launches though due to the low boost and no LC plus 285 tyres help. Attachment 31996 Attachment 31997 Attachment 31998 |
