Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? You should wash it out before you do.;)

Next time try a few sighting laps and learn the course a section at a time, slowly increasing the amount you get right as opposed to just hairing along all over the place.:thumb:

P.S It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it.;)

yes he thinks he is mr incredible blah blah cnut blah fcuk him
does he even know about the costs involved for damage at the ring if you come off ? I suppose if I had binned it by going balls out I would have been going to fast and a daft cnut
I drove what I could see not what I could remember to stay out of trouble and I got me and my car home in one piece mission accomplished for my first trip to the ring

my mums dead but I will gladly kiss your mother right on her ring

MrQaud 20 August 2014 05:37 PM

Back on track with this thread now... That was an epic save. Driver did supremely well not to panic and steered the car to safety. Regardless of a certain amount of luck being involved it was still a great save.:thumb:

I think I'd have shat myself after that and driven around at about 30mph for the rest of the day! :o

learn the course are you nuts I was with the three blokes in that video most of whom have been going for 15+ years and they tell me that they are still learning it :freak3:

scoobyboy1 20 August 2014 05:45 PM

That sort of thing would not have happened if the driver in that video was driving a WRX, as he wouldn't have been able to have kept up with the faster cars and would have plenty of braking time(probably 2 mile braking distance:p)!!!:D

Even worse then :thumb:
Don't you think it's a good idea to keep it running rather than seizing it's arse off, I'd sure make sure all the mechanicals were still lubricating the selfs.

Ditchy makes SN funny, I really like reading his posts!!!:thumb:

If you listened to him on how to take the proper race lines, you could give a Ferrari a run for its money in a Rover, you dont need power/weight etc all you need is proper race lines!!!!:D

And dont forget Version 3 Type R's and good clean blobeye's will be worth loads of money and be true classics in 10 years time too!!!:lol1:

Yes.

You should be a little more respectful of other peoples mothers that you don't know.

Don't be ashamed to admit you need help, it's the mark of a man to be able to recognise his failings and do something about them.;)

A great thread in so many ways.:lol1:

bustaMOVEs 20 August 2014 07:04 PM

From what I could see, is that a car had been recovered from road (hence why they slowed) you can see it on a flatbed just set off further up road.

1st of all I had no idea your mother had passed away, sorry for your loss.

I never and still have not despite repeated personal attacks stooped to your level.

No, I down loaded R Factor and learned the track BEFORE I went so I would at least have some idea of what to expect.;)

I have been on many track days with both cars and bikes, I think that learning to ride a bike gives you a better insight to the importance of lines and braking and as such improves your ability to take a sequence of bends at optimum speed.

I have also had my fair share of tuition on both bikes and in cars. one should never be ashamed to take advice from those more experienced than oneself.

Your responses only serve to prove that you are in fact all the things you chose to call me.;)

The Pink Ninja 20 August 2014 07:18 PM

Ditch as much as you think you will learn it of a computer screen the reality is very very different with so many variables that you can not comprehend....We all know you like to have an `Oracle` opinion on everything but give it a rest before you dig a bigger hole than you made beating a ferarri in your rover oh and the sti beating wrx wagon because it has good brakes and a better ratio gearbox.

The ring is the ring....That`s what makes it the best track in the world!... Its a toll road and a race track but abides by the german road traffic act when incidents occur, Do you get yellow flags and marshalls on the M6 toll.....Peace out!
