Bigger, but smaller at the same time. Apple make the impossible, possible.

I had a play with a Samsung Galaxy S3 today, what a sack of cack, that monster screen, must be 7", hasn't aged well and Android just sucks.

Admit it you thought it was excellent as your blood began to boil when it dawned on you that it is actually a lot better, faster and nicer than your 4S ;)

o so its the operating system thats must is it? lmao

jack you so much of an isheep it makes me lol

JackClark 24 January 2013 08:22 AM

Jesus Tidgy, you've woken up drunk.

I absolutely did not think it was excellent, I got it syncing with OSX contacts though, the OSX part was a tick box, Android was was too many options - that my customer couldn't find - just to sync with Google.

Tidgy 24 January 2013 09:11 AM

jack you said ios 'is a must' dont you actualy pay attention to what you post?

or do you just have apples in front of your eyes? lol

Rob_Impreza99 24 January 2013 11:24 AM

I liked the iphone i had, it was a good phone but it was a bit too restrictive in what you can do with it.

I'm neither an apple or android fanboy, a phone is just a phone to me but its nice to be able to add extra memory to a phone and customise it as well as being able to upgrade the battery or carry a spare if you need one, its a nice option to have.

For Jack to say the Galaxy S3 is cack is just bitter jealousy imo.

....

a phone is just a phone to me

iPhones are great at making calls, what part of being a phone was too restrictive for you? Ah, I know, no Slippery Pig ringtone, fart noise when Uncle Harry calls and 3 flashes of bright blue LED when Young Joey sends a message. I get it.

andy97 24 January 2013 05:10 PM

There has been a stock re alignment as investors are becoming more realistic about the future of apple

Sorry, but that made me laugh as it is in many ways quite true :lol1:

bioforger 24 January 2013 06:45 PM

But the multi coloured LED's (not just blue) are cool :) Actually joking aside I do find that feature really useful.

Ant 24 January 2013 07:39 PM

I'd imagine robsyuk has a personalised ring tone, this sums up android users

bioforger 24 January 2013 07:44 PM

And what exactly is wrong with a personalised ringtone? Virtually everyone has their own ringtone regardless of OS or phone. Or are you one of those dullards who uses a standard ringing phone tone?

Yes because guess what? I'm not 15 and if it were to go off in front of a client I'd look and feel like a pleb.

But you crack on I'm sure all the yoofs will think you're cool

bioforger 24 January 2013 07:55 PM

Knew it typical boring unimaginative Apple user.

Hey guess what when you are with a client you can change the ringtone to something more appropriate   Should your phone even be on when you are with a client anyway? A bit unprofessional really :)

So I change my ringtone for the 7 or so clients I see every day :lol1:

bioforger 24 January 2013 08:02 PM

:) if it was me it wouldn't be on, or at least muted, kinda rude otherwise if it goes off mid meeting.

bioforger 24 January 2013 08:14 PM

:lol1: no

JackClark 24 January 2013 10:08 PM

I'll bet it's Right said Fred

bioforger 24 January 2013 10:20 PM

Funny. Actually I also use a boring standard phone tone :lol1: When I'm feeling like a pleb I may use the Kill Bill Whistling tune.

Rob_Impreza99 25 January 2013 01:46 AM

More woes for Apple, approx $50bn (£32bn) wiped off Apple's value.... Thats some hit.

Tidgy 25 January 2013 07:52 AM

yeah their share price went down further than a tiwanese hooker with herpes

JackClark 25 January 2013 08:13 AM

It's was at a ridiculous value, I feel sorry for the people that bought above the current price but my wood burner says thanks, $600 for a few shares bought at $85 was a nice touch. Did anyone else take my advice to buy back then?

IWatkins 25 January 2013 10:20 AM

Got mine in 2003 when they were about $8 :) :)

Sold half of them a few months ago just before the share price peaked. Half the earnings reinvested elsewhere. Tidy nest egg with the other half, looking at treating myself to maybe a GTR.

Other half I'm going to hang on to for a while until the next big peak. Doubt they'll go much higher again but another peak looks possible. Even if I sold them at $16 I'd still double my money :)

My broker (who advised I buy into Apple when they were a bit crap back in 2003) is a lovely guy and was really happy with my return. Got his fee of course but he got in personally himself in 2001 and with a big lump of stock. He is pretty much sorted for life.

So, although I'm not bowled over with every product Apple make, I do have a vested interest in how their stock performs.
