To the OP, buy what pad type suits your driving style which I'm sure Ian can assist with.

I've only ever bought Godspeed brake discs over my 3 Impreza's, in fact my car spent a day with Ian for him to sort out a problem caused by someone else. This involved a lot of machining, mechanical work and ball ache for Ian but he and his son stayed until past 7pm to finish the job; they had worked on my car for the day and wouldn't leave until it was finished.

Most garages would have given me the fook off pill at 5pm but Ian soldiered on and only shut up after I'd be on a test run to make sure I was happy and all was well.

I'd 100% recommend Godspeed without hesitation. :notworthy

Cheers mate.I will be giving Ian a call and have listened to the positive posters in this thread.:thumb:.

Well cob and op im sorry if im spoiling this thread as i dont mean to, but all i do is reply to people and giving them my personal advise, and DONT follow ian around which hes sugesting which made me angry, just goes to show he dosent like my comments for some reason? And replies to my posts in a manor to belittle me, (hidden agenda i think)
I will put my advise across and if people take it or not, fair enough.
A lot of people are happy which is fair enough, but i know other that are not, but thats not my argument.

I will still stand by my word and say pagid basic pads are better than the kevlars regardless on who sells them.
But as always nobody listens to people like me.

Im not gonna post any more regarding this as op has made his feelings clear on not ruining his thread.

Hi Ian,

How much for front and rear Kevlar Pads(the German made ones) for a 2005 JDM STI? I'm still using standard Brembo disks and Calipers.

Many thanks
Ben

Hi Ian.will be calling you soon.Just would like to know how much for front and rear grooved discs with centres painted black.Considering your german kevlar pads, although i am leaning towards EBC Redstuff as to my driving style and low dust properties of them.Appreciate feedback, but will discuss when i call.:thumb:Andy
