Or could have been used when the car was mapped and therefore a uk map installed.

Also seen a fair few uk cars with sti engine, loom and ecu.

this 2000 turbo has a sp sti ecu with prodrive on it made some call yesterday they said means it's got a ppp kit and was between 240bhp-250bhp

Heres is my ecu http://s1084.photobucket.com/albums/...F35DB-orig.jpg
i cant see a prodrive on the front but i can feel another sticker up the top out of view and dont have 10mm to hand to get it out.
The codes match other prodrive ecu's on the web.
Does this mean im likley to have 240-250bhp too?
Are these mapable cheers

yes that's the prodrive ecu same map as on the 6k sti v2 ecu but the engine has less compression so only gives you 250bhp

Cool. I was always puzzled why it had a sti ecu in it.

Yes, but you'll be better of selling for £200+, then buying a standard ecu 40-50 quid. More money towards remap.

EDIT: Sorry didn't realise it was a 1997, so not mappable.
