:D:D:D

Actually in medical term for men, aroused need a day's rest to recover and everytime you have sex, your body needs 3 days. that's why you can never caught up with sleep, and that's why you need more sleep when your young than when getting old, does it make sense?to you?:D

This topic is definitely a "non scooby related".:D

Saint AAI 08 June 2011 05:39 PM

I normally get between 5 and 6 hours a night. Could do with around 7 though as I'm always tired. I get 8 hours on a Sat night to recharge.

EH52WRX 08 June 2011 05:51 PM

8-10 for me, i can sleep anywhere any time lol

Rumbled :D

The Rig 08 June 2011 06:49 PM

Bare minimum for me,i see it,you can sleep when your dead,in a non corny way.

i like to stay up late as possible as it means ive used most of the 24 hrs etc,i usually go to bed at 1am and get up at 7

chocolate_o_brian 08 June 2011 07:12 PM

I need about 8 hours a night, usually get between 7-8. Even when the little one was first born I didn't get less than about 6-7 as me and the Mrs were tired so would fall asleep easily after feeds. Only a couple of occasions we've had 2-3 hours through the night.

Don't get people who live on 4-5 hours all the time, must be something detrimental going on that will catch up later in life.

Mrfastbaz 08 June 2011 07:16 PM

5 to 6 hours max during the week and sometimes i may have a nap on a weekend if i have been to the pub for a couple of pints on a lunch time..........

martin850 08 June 2011 08:11 PM

Around 5-6 hours for me due to a six month old baby and starting work at silly o'clock. I get a bit of a lay in on either Saturday or Sunday but after around seven hours I have to get up As I get killer backache.

If I get too much I feel like crap and am like a bear with a sorehead. :(

jods 08 June 2011 08:16 PM

During the week:
Bed by 12:30 / 1:00 Awake 6:00 / 6:30

Weekends
Bed by 2:30 / 3:00 Awake 10:30 / 11:00

Occasionally on weekends I'll lie in till midday :)

Fabioso 08 June 2011 08:17 PM

During the week its about 5 - 6 and at weekends it like 7 - 8 at the most :D

This.

12 hour night shifts back to back to back to back = permanently tired.

MarkC 08 June 2011 08:31 PM

I get about 7 hours sleep

tarmac terror 08 June 2011 10:54 PM

Was talking about this not so long ago with work colleagues. I can get by and function well on 5 hours sleep. If I wake up after 6-7 hours I dont feel so good, but if I get 8 or more hours I am fine but feel no better than having had 5 hours.

Terminator X 09 June 2011 12:09 AM

4-5hrs for me, tend to go to sleep at 1am & up again for work at 6am. Sleep in at w/ends though ;) Sleep when you're dead is good advice ...

TX.

PS. I've worked a day + through the night before then back to work again with no sleep ... hugely fooked by about 2pm, could hardly speak let alone work so went home!

chocolate_o_brian 09 June 2011 06:57 AM

Well I went to bed just after 11 last night and was up just gone 6, would say 6 1/2 sleep in that and I feel fcuked :( oober strong espresso this morning before work whilst the mrs contends with Isaacs greeny yellow nappy :D

Turbohot 09 June 2011 01:56 PM

7 to 8 hours, usually. 9 to 10 hours on rare occasions, when I can afford it, and why not.

I love sleeping. I love shutting my eyes to everything, I love the dreams and nightmares propping up from my unconscious in my sleep, like some buried and denied treasure, the physical relaxation, the stopping of the ongoing train of thoughts, and the escape from what went on all day, every day; apart from sleeping, that is. :D I wake up the next day with clear head, much energy and the drive to get on with another day. To me, adequate sleep is important. Sleep is one sweet and creative phenomenon. :luvlove:

birchy2010 09 June 2011 02:07 PM

i need at leats 8 hours or i'm tired and grumpy the next day, if i dont get 8 hours i nap in the day as i work shifts so have no real sleep pattern.

billythekid 09 June 2011 02:50 PM

8 hours is good for me, but can manage on 3 or 4 if I have too - well none if I *really* have to.

Most recently I did 7 solid days, 6am start not getting into bed till 230am ish with an 8 hour flight at either end too.

To make things worse I was on a different time zone by 5 hours, so it was a right PITA by day 5 or 6 - esp when talking to folks back in the UK and they start confusing you about their time vs my time lol.
