try making a claim with a-plan and then see how slow they are at getting back to you.

Went with Adrian Flux in the end, so 'touch wood' dont need to claim, but hope their not as bad as A plan if they are slow to reply- guess you never really know what a company is like until you need them to actually do their job!

i was insured with adrian flux from 2002 to 2005 as they insured engine conversions and i never had a problem, but like most you don't know there is a problem until you have to claim!

who are you with now then? i have only just took the policy out as was with Admiral when i had my05 wrx, which un modded oddly cost me more to insure! also using the price comparison websites is a joke! the cheapest i got on them was £700-800 odd

use a specialist any day over 'go get robbed.com' or 'compare the rip off.com!'

gary@ Keith Michaels, i also had some quotes from the comparison sites and the cheapest of them was post office which was £880.00 but this included all the extras, and you could pay monthly at no extra charge and didn't have to put a few months payment down first, but as above i went with gary@ Keith Michaels, who blew there price out of the water, people need to remember yes he is sometimes difficult to get hold of but when you do its worth the effort.
