If I don't reply to a post, it could be for various reasons ..... maybe they on my ignore list (yes, I have the ability to utilise that feature :D) - maybe their comment doesn't warrant an answer - maybe their question is not really a question but a veiled attack - maybe they simply do not have the mental capacity to understand my answer ... very school playground :D
The reason is never that I cannot argue my point ...... :D |

Let me tell you lot something amazing - I am STILL using that very phone in my car RIGHT NOW!!!
Now, that is even more amazing than it was then! It is still on contract and it still works perfectly! Holy crap it's more than 3 years since! And there is something wrong with someone who can drag that up  |
Anyway - back on target ... anyone remember the Tories 15% Inflation Rate??

It's still in my car and still in use, contract is still in place, you have just reminded me that I need to use it once every so often to stop Orange turning it off ..... no need for photo's, contracts, etc. either believe or not :D
Anyway .... I'm sure the Tories were in power when, not only inflation was running riot - but Interest Rates were at record levels!! Hands up who wants to go back to that! |
A word of warning to voters:-
"On 16 September 1992, interest rates went up from 10 per cent to12 per cent - and the Tory government said they would go up again to 15 per cent the next day" FACT! in TWO DAYS rates went UP 5%!!!! |
^^ The Banks would have a lot of houses to sell on if it happened again.

Nobody wants 15% interest rates, but I'm (personally) not keen on such low ones either. Means my bags of money are earning nothing in the bank, actually being eroded by inflation.
Btw, what's happened to rpi? |

There are some who refuse to read what's written after they have read the name of the poster .... quite sad really.

I'm quite sre you have been on the site long enough to understand the term, resorting to personal insults on one's appearance (which are completely unfounded by the way) is frankly pathetic and quite sad.
You have completely misunderstood my post. I asked you to explain how you came to accuse SSuP of trolling since my understanding of that term does not tie in with your accusation. I was interested in your reasoning! Secondly I did not make any reference to your personal appearance, hardly likely since we have never met so I am not qualified to do that even if I was so bad mannered as to do so. My reference to looking in the mirror implied that you were more guilty by far of trolling with your remark than SSuP with his original post! Read my post again why don't you? Les |

Yes. But remind those too young to remember what peak inflation reached around 1976/77 and who was in power then.
