If I don't reply to a post, it could be for various reasons ..... maybe they on my ignore list (yes, I have the ability to utilise that feature :D) - maybe their comment doesn't warrant an answer - maybe their question is not really a question but a veiled attack - maybe they simply do not have the mental capacity to understand my answer ... very school playground :D
The reason is never that I cannot argue my point ...... :D |

Anyway .... I'm sure the Tories were in power when, not only inflation was running riot - but Interest Rates were at record levels!! Hands up who wants to go back to that! |

"On 16 September 1992, interest rates went up from 10 per cent to12 per cent - and the Tory government said they would go up again to 15 per cent the next day" FACT! in TWO DAYS rates went UP 5%!!!! :eek: |

Nobody wants 15% interest rates, but I'm (personally) not keen on such low ones either. Means my bags of money are earning nothing in the bank, actually being eroded by inflation.
