[QUOTE=reano;8255229]When your car starts to get to that level of tune and you have an autronics ECU you need to start to take action yourself about learning to tune your own car. Then you will have less hassle.

Steps to take are as follows:-

1) Any fitting of components (headers, clutch, turbo, etc) either do it yourself or find a good local reputable garage as these things are bread and butter to a local good mechanic and will be a lot cheaper than most specialist accept people like Harvey Performance.
2) Next get yourself some good books and plan on reading for a long while first start off with Ben strader book

i do a lot of the work on my car already such as fitting intercooler, headers, turbo and such but mapping is one thing i would never try as i dont have enough confidence in my computer skills to start with, not to say i wouldnt like to learn as i would though.ithere is obviosly a problem somewhere along the line and if i start with a fresh engine and i still get the same results then i will have to check everything else one by one untill it gets to were it should be.

Matt was having a few problems with the Dyno for a week or two, but as far as he knew, it was back working fully, it needed recalibrating, and has now been done I think.

Matt is a very good mapper, He has good experience with both Scoobs and Evo's, more so probably Evo's, but he mapped a mate of mine's car after Scooby clinic had finished with it, and it now feels and pulls like a totally different car.

He asked who did the work.... so I answered !

P.S. If being helpful is stupid, (SEE POST NO.2) then I'll stick to an EVO forum. :luvlove:

why were you so disappointed if you know there arfe still issues to sort?

does the boost peak like that on the road and then drop?

fuelling would be different on the rollers but that almost looks like it loads it and the boost comes up and then the load drops away as the boost and the fuelling follow each other back down etc

has the timing on the cambelt been checked?
this could be a reason for it not taking timing

does it use much oil? it could also be burning oil on boost causing it to take less timing.

yes it does peak and then levels off around 1.75-1.8 bar, dont know about the timing on the cambelt as this was fitted and set up by the engine builder, yes it does use oil this is the issue with the engine that needs to be sorted as it is breathing oil.andrew has advised me to check the intercooler and pipework for oil when the engine is out so that there is no oil contamination.
