I'm not surprised to be honest. They're so much fun to play and can be used for either light or serious gaming, (You need to play one to realise this)

I've had a bit of a play on one and have to say I quite like it, but there is a serious lack of games for the Wii. I don't own a Wii, partly as I can't seem to find somewhere locally that stocks them. Best Buy, FutureShop, WalMart and Toys R Us all list them as out of stock, both online and in store.

Play.com have them in stock, as well as the best selection of games.

My mate has one (from launch) played it for about a month and don't think we touched it since.

I was lucky enough to get one pre-xmas 2006 and it got played everyday for the first 3/4 months. Now its nearer 2/3 times a week but still a superb machine with mass appeal. Starting to itch for a 360 now though it has to be said.

I leave early from work on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays so I have an or so on Resident Evil. Then I have a big session on a Saturday or Sunday.

I play it just as much as I played my PS2 and more than I played my XBox.

I still have loads of scores to achieve on Wii Sports, 75% of Red Steel to complete, and I've hardly touched Zelda as my mate borrowed it :lol1: Resident Evil is the priority though.

Congratulations Nintendo!! :)
Now with Metroid Prime, you shall keep on selling like crazy.

Time to say thank you for...
The Cool Controller
The Slick Design
The Stability (no failure so far compared to my 360 & nothing to be afraid of)
The Virtual Console
The Fun I have to create Mii's
The Weather Channel
The News Channel
The Voting Channel
and last but not lease Thanks for The Only Sport I regularly do ;)

Even my father wants a Wii,... OK you don't know him but... hmm... nevermind... :D
Cheers from a 33 years young gamer. Oops!

It should see some decent games coming out for it soon - now that it's been a decent number of months since the publishers realised the market was big for it.
