(Just don't mention.. cough.. the Vivio!!!!) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

And in todays news. The country of Impreza started to mass troops on its southern borders. It is believed that, if the state is provoked much more, a pre-emptive strike may be made by Impreza's forces.

A spokesman for Impreza said "We aren't going to put up with this crap any longer, they are full of bravado but are truly reluctant to flex their military 'might'.".

Justy's based on a Suzuki jeep thing isn't it, fail to see the connection with the Impreza http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Besides, I drive an Impreza so they must be the best http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif

ps How has this thread resisted being muppetized for so long now ?

...err ok.

according to that logic the Mclaren Mercedes F1 car is related to a Mercedes truck.

Can I suggest no-one posts anything else until Jason gets back with a track, so we can bring this drivel to an end.
(otherwise I do feel this thread should be passed on to Blowdog, to continue the highly factual debate http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif )

What's that?

The Audi S3 is related to a Skoda, Seat and 2 VWs?

Surely not a machine as wonderous as the S3?

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif[/quote]

You must either

1) Have a very short memory

OR

2)Be the biggest hypocrit i ever saw http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Whats your point?, why cant an McLaren F1 be related to a Merc Truck, i bet your last pound coin that some peice of R&D is common to both!

And back to the Impreza/Justy debate, well doesnt a Justy have a very similar AWD system to the Impreza. Also, you might find it has very similar (if not identical?)interior stalks etc.

Sunil

The Audi S3 shares more than just a component ot two with the 2 VWs, Seat and Skoda. It shares most of the chassis with them.

Therefore me saying that they are related is a fair comment.

I wouldn't bother saying that cars are related just because they happen to share a couple of pieces of kit - e.g. I wouldn't say that an Aston Martin Vantage is related to a Ford Mondeo just because they happen to share the same indicator stalk.

You said that the Justy and Impreza were related. Only in that they are made by the same manufacturer and they probably have a couple of minor components in common.

My comment on the various cars of the VAG group being related still stands, as they share a great deal.

Whether or not they share the chassis or an indicator stalk is irrlevant, they are related period! - that was your point of disagreement! You need to dig further and find out how close the impreza is to its family counterparts anyhow! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

After all, would you shag your cousin regardless of how closely/distantly related she was? (actually, dont answer that!) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
