Takara originally made toys called "Diaclone" they were rebranded Transformers for the western markets.

Takara83 can be seen during the main movie trailer in the OP. When they replay the noise heard (Transformers language) at the Pentagon, at the bottom of the wave-form theres a small word "Takara83" As a bit of a nod to the original makers.

Nah, I've read the script so no what I don't like about it already. I know who lives, who dies, who kills who - which ones don't even get a chance to speak english before getting bumped off stupidly quickly and are nothing but cannon fodder (this is the bit I don't like!) NO SOUNDWAVE!

Footage wise I've only seen what everyone else has seen. Talked to a few people who have seen the special screenings so I pretty much know what happens anyway.

2nd and 3rd movie already given greenlight too :)

A recent interiew with a member of the production team for TF1 hinted that TF2 may well feature both or either the Dinobots (Grimlock at least) and the constructicons (Gestalts are very much on the cards in one of the sequels)

She was in an episode of two and a half men, cleaning widows in her bikini - was quite a pleasant addition :)

I saw it the other day, its a great film with fantastic cgi. The main character is quite funny, there is a good amount of wit and humor across the whole film and the action scenes look really good.


..oh and the female lead is well fit!!
