Looks really nice :thumb:

Just out of interest, what are the differences then between a 3 door shell from a basic 1.4/1/6 and a 3 door shell from a Cosworth? Srtonger? Lighter? Roll cage mount points or something?

:)

That'll be the Merkur XR4Ti then:) US market model, with a blown 8v pinto IIRC

That is one  looking motor broadmoor:notworthy That colour looks far and away better there than it ever will on a TT:thumb:

Although if I were you I'd tell everyone that it's the colour of the new Lambo press car;)

If they are building it, it should be reliable. :thumb:

Very nice...looks like a quality job:notworthy . Bet it hops on a bit now you've taken all that weight out....obviously a standard Classic could outrun it while returning 150mpg, but you nevertheless have a great car there:norty: .

Broadmoor 28 September 2006 08:13 PM

Thanks again fellas for the comments.....

good cage there, that looks like a pug 205 to me

rb5_336 29 September 2006 03:45 PM

sure is, well spotted. Comprehensive weld in cages improve the handling dramatically, plus a lot safer etc. Just what u need when hooning it around the track :)

Out of interest BM which wheels are the final ones, the BBS's or the graphite 7 spokes? it looks pretty damned fine on both:thumb:

SupaMiniCupa 02 October 2006 07:01 PM

Stunning car, loving the colour

Broadmoor 02 October 2006 07:13 PM

Wheels wheels wheels...I have a few different sets of wheels and i'm forever changing my mind..The Car looks to soft on the BBS's imho...and it's not a show and shine sort of car really...

when the cars up and running i'll make a choice .....or maybe i'll change em every other week...lol
