Hux,
Have you got a link lol! :D If you go by what your in nads are feeling then Hux has to be the top 'o' the list with his suggestion. I can't see the incredibles giving me worked up lol! |
I watched "Sideways" lastnight and was looking forward to it going by the reviews on IMDB however it was quite poor IMO.
L101: The Aviator.....What?......good?.......What a load of toss ! :D CB: I was looking forward to watching "Closer" aswell. Hope it isnt too bad ? Agree with you on "The Station Agent," I really liked that. |
butterfly effect :thumb:
man on fire? - "man who is lukewarm with a crap plot" more like. what a load of toss.. denzel washington really shouldnt bother.. ohh look at me with my bandana and sunglasses.. no one will recognise me.. (as the ONLY black man in that part of mexico- doh) |

Ps - In answer to original question definately 'Man on Fire' only film I have been to see in ages and loved it. Can't wait for it to come out on dvd.
chopper :D |
man on fire and saw were the best ive seen at the cinema recently(ish).
favourites anyway include the first 2 friday films. |
thought Denzel was WAAAAyyy better in training Day.
MoF seems very cliched and most of the acting is hammy as hell to me.. |
The Incredibles :D
The Grudge Closer...forced to go watch it by girl I was with and thought it was good (;) for a sloppy film). |
Update:
Have now seen the following since posting this thread: Closer = Poor Man on Fire = Excellent Million Dollar Baby = Good Wimbledon = Good Wicker Park = Average/good Meet the Fockers = Good Butterfly effect = Excellent Going to watch within next couple of weeks: The Aviator Saw Hellboy Eternal Sunshine of a .... Bob |
Man on Fire and Saw were both pretty good
|
Don't you mean. you 'saw Man On Fire?' ;)
|
I'm 3/4 through "Closer" - very good film.
ESoSM is excellent. The Woodsman is ok. Team America is very funny in s "southpark" way Man on Fire - very cool - what a twisted man. |
No votes for "The Spongebob Squarepants Movie!" then?
|
have to agree with many on here SAW and the butterfly effect are both super movies
|
Saw was fantastic
|
Team America - so damn funny!
Saw - very good, but a few annoying minor flaws Cant believe how many people reckon Meet the Fockers was amazing? I liked the first one, but the second weak very weak IMO. |
if you want a way of viewing the latest dvds before anyone else pm me
|

Going to watch "The Final Cut" and "Spongebob" tonight. Harrold and Kumar go to White Castles (UK release is named differently) is a good laugh. |
"Saw" was good.
watched "hide and seek" the other day but wasnt that good. |
I saw man on fire when it 1st came out, liked it so much I went and bought the DVD when it came out :)
I’m not one for reading usually but after my dad watched the DVD he said the book is much better and the film is only loosely based on it. So im considering investing in a copy has anyone else read it? |
