the evidence as I see it..
cruise i feel bad for startin the race!!!! how old is your mate? - young lads, fast cars, and all that jazz :( - the nearest thing I got to fast as a teenager was a Fiat Strada Arbarth, with 1 hour of ownwership, 120 was reached on the motorway, a few years later, 115 was reached within 1/2 hour of owning a westie. Everyone on scoobynet will have done stupid illegal speeds at some point - except pslewis, apparently when he was 17 he acchieved the ungodly velocity of 17.5mph on his boneshaker delivering Hovis ;) ( downhill, with a favourable wind  ) :) |
I wonder which will be the first case where something written on a BBS is admissable in court?

I would say if he's no points he might be lucky. If not a short ban. If it does affect his job or anything else serious he can argue against a ban, but I would consult a solicitor.

Yes the police have been targeting that southern stretch of the A23 since that nasty accident. I have seen them several times - whilst driving my micra at 75. There are advantages to driving a shed. Not many but a few. ;)
This solicitor has been recomended on here before for representing speeding offenses. I have never used him so can not vouch for him but others have. A. Serghis 01273 626762 (That is a Brighton Number) Pulsars are very quick in a straight line. But do suffer in the twisty stuff as a rule, they don't tend to handle. Does sound like your mate needs to calm down a bit. Steve |

You also need to be doubly careful whenever there is a big meet on as the police are fully aware of meets etc - The A23 is a marked road as it is, but on a Sat they just sit and wait for people doing the Crawley to Brighton run.
