I keep getting weird emails to do with "completion of bid" or something.

wwp8 21 March 2004 11:49 PM

best is NOT to give him a feedback at all. because he can't respond.

ignore his email for the first week
2nd week say you're going on holiday and will send him a cheque before you go.
3rd week say have you received the cheque yet.
4th week tell him the cheque was sent to x address ( buy type a wrong address)
5th week tell him you're ill and will get this sorted out asap
6th week p155 your self laughing knowing that very soon he can't get a refund for the commision charge from ebay cos it's too late. so he has to pay ...10% ????

RedMicaRocks 21 March 2004 11:52 PM

will do :)

wwp8 21 March 2004 11:58 PM

actually just checked after 45 days so....6 weeks?

fees i think 3.25%

by the way if ebay sends you a reminder. say you sent him payment and received the goods already,.

but HE sent you an email to ignore ebay reminders cos he wants his listing fee back.

it will be better use a different email address when you send him emails (different from the one registered to ebay) why??.....incase he forwards them to ebay, you can deny the emails then :D

it will be cool if you can make a fake email about the

but HE sent you an email to ignore ebay reminders cos he wants his listing fee back.

omg i do have an evil MIND.

HAHAHAHAH mess with a scoobynet member.....mess with the scooby community

hahahahahahahahahhahaaha

RedMicaRocks 23 March 2004 08:34 AM

The cheeky fecker has sent through a payment thing for the second time with the price of delivery added (£10) even though in the item bumph it says "Do a buy it now, and I'll post it for free". Tssk, that's gonna delay him, especially as it takes well over a day for me to respond...

kelvin 23 March 2004 10:42 AM

:D

You HAVE to keep us updated on this one... LMAO :)

K.

fatherpierre 23 March 2004 10:59 AM

He can claim hi fees back after 17 days if honest or 7 if not.

To get him in the sh1t just tell him you don't want it and say he can claim his cash back as you're mutually agreeing. Then, you will get an email from ebay asking if this is true. Reply saying NO and he will be suspended for abusing ebay's final value credit system.

My email

Hi there,

Saw you had a load of rubbish for sale.

Is it recyclable?

Cheers

Carl Cod :)

mj 24 March 2004 07:47 PM

RedMicaRocks 29 March 2004 10:50 PM

He seems to be getting a bit restless that my cheque hasn't arrived yet. Apparently my phone number isn't correct either  ;)

Iwan 30 March 2004 08:19 AM

Who is he then, are you on about wheelchairexpress? I fancy a laugh :D

Dream Weaver 30 March 2004 08:34 AM

Look at the stuff hes selling as well - odd selection.

RedMicaRocks 30 March 2004 09:46 AM

yeah wheelchairexpress. Except I don't think I can go much further with it, just recieved this email from an ebay address:

Your cooperation and quick response in this matter is greatly appreciated.

ajm 30 March 2004 10:47 AM

Can you get in there and leave him some bad feedback before they suspend the account? :D

RedMicaRocks 30 March 2004 10:52 AM

Dunno cos then he can reply! better just to feck up his auction!

RedMicaRocks 31 March 2004 06:08 PM

Should i be at all concerned about this:

YOUR MONEY HAS NOT ARRIVED AND QUITE HONESTLY I DID NOT THINK IT WOULD. I AM
NOW COMMENCING PROCEEDINGS FOR COMPENSATION FOR YOUR ACTIONS

fatherpierre 31 March 2004 06:26 PM

No.

All he can do is get you a warning from ebay. He will claim his final value fees back from ebay but will still pay the listing fees.

When you get the email from ebay reply saying something like he was abusive and kept emailing you to harrass you. They have to investigate this and may freeze his account for a while!!!

Nate 31 March 2004 07:41 PM

PMSL ........... Quality username who bought it !!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Nate.

mj 31 March 2004 07:52 PM

nate -

tis a closeley guarded secret ;)

...nice one to whoever did it, Mr Tench must be as thick as pigsh1t, I am honestly surprised he has not put 2+2 together and thought of me :D

It seems to me that our fishy freind is just some boring window licker with nothing better to do than try and big himself up in the "real" world - ie, via Ebay .

SiDHEaD 31 March 2004 09:24 PM

lol what a prize nob. Stealing someone's advert then complaining when people do him over back.

Fair play i say.

Andy

RedMicaRocks 31 March 2004 09:37 PM

i have just got some more rubbish through from him:

Well you might say that but you have agreed to a legal binding contract when
you bid on this auction, which I can assure you, I will pursue to the max in
order to get full legal recourse and a satisfactory compensation with the
help of Ebay and Safe Harbour. I will also continue with N.B.W. and will
make sure of negative posting of feedback against you. I have seen all the
correspondence to you and find that it is only standard procedure
I am now at the end of this matter with you, all further correspondence can
go through my solicitors
The reason i don't want his goods is because it said in the advert "use by it now and pay no p&p", and yet the bill came through with surprise surprise the full amount. ---- Damn, negative feedback on an account which hasn't been used for any other transactions - gutted.

fatherpierre 31 March 2004 09:41 PM

What a chod!!

You'll get an email with a warning from ebay - a slap on the wrist wich you can contend and have your say.

I have had 100s of non-payers and belive me, I wish I had recourse to get all my cash back. I can only reclaim my final value fees from ebay - no one else.

Milk it and wind the prick uo.

RedMicaRocks 31 March 2004 09:45 PM

I quite fancy an air-nailer.. hmm

ya reckon it would be an idea to delete the email alias, or just ignore it all and laugh? Don't want to get in sh*t for helping a scoobynet pal out!

Stiff 31 March 2004 09:53 PM

Mail him back and say you thought you saw his name on a loaf of bread whilst shopping but on closer inspection it said `THICK CUT`. See what he replies.

fatherpierre 31 March 2004 10:00 PM

You can't get into any sh1t.

Ebay don't give a fook and will merely send you an automated email.

I know their systems inside out through my use of it.........

Keep it up.

SiDHEaD 31 March 2004 10:30 PM

Play him for the **** he is i say!

Andy

RedMicaRocks 31 March 2004 11:26 PM

What is all this toss about a solicitor then? Is just trying to act hard because he nicked someone's advert?

Do you think he even had the item to sell, sounds a bit iffy to me.

If i was to reply to his solicitors would this not cost him money??? Need to be a little careful of course, but all he has is a name and an email address.

fatherpierre 31 March 2004 11:33 PM

The solictor talk is bollox.

If you want advice on ebay's system PM me. It's an automated company with very few employees.

Don't worry!!!!!!!!!

wwp8 01 April 2004 12:01 AM
