i have the skunk II and believe me that one is loud

yes paul, it would get rather warm, but it's be well loud - which was the original question... :D

Never said it was a sensible answer.

The loudest I've heard is 'Flat Four Clubs' as Scooby57 says... SHOCKING!

I'm currently running a 5zigen Fireball Cat-back on my Type R - 114dB:D:D:D:D:D

and as for negligable power difference, my Type R with a 5zigen ran 277bhp @ PowerStation, a Type R running a Scoobysport ran 263bhp:cool:

Edit for carp spelling:rolleyes:

Another vote for the BPM Twister, I have the Mk3 backbox with a Magnex downpipe, it can drone a bit on mototrway's but is really good in the short bursts through the gears.

Editted to add I'll be at the Rally Day at Castle Coombe if anybody wants to listen.

The HKS Hyper centre section is totally different to a stock one. If you change the back box, you'll need a new centre too.

Mark.

Ha Ha Knowlesy, you did'nt actually mention that you had no silencer in your whole system unless you count that thing the size of a baked bean tin as a rear silencer :D

Pats H&S 3.25inch is quite loud ;) especially with mapped in pops and bangs :D

I have been told that a 'Buddy Club' exhaust system is rather loud on an Impreza!

I have yet to actually hear one though.
