Purists would argue that the true colour to have a Ferrari in is in fact yellow and not red as this is supposedly the official Italian racing colour. I think the Integrale works well in yellow.
Regarding colours, my recent experience at auctions has shown that a bad coloured car and the same car in a good colour will differ in price by 10-20%. There is only one colour worse than white (generally) and that is grey, which is why BT changed the colour of their vans to white - to improve resale values. There are no hard and fast rules about colours in the trade - it depends from model to model. My last bit of wisdom is that silver is becoming so common that I predict that it will be the "new" white. |
Whats wrong with Gold (Blaze Yellow)?
Local VW garage a few years ago had 2 Corrados, one Yellow one red with similar miles and the Yellow one took ages to sell and was about £1500 cheaper, there seems to be trends with colours and yellow seems to be in at the moment http://images.fotopic.net/?id=688818&outx=760&oq=0 [Edited by jaf01uk - 7/13/2003 6:50:01 PM] |
Hmm, Yellow..... That 355 and 360 don't look too shoddy in yellow!
