on a seperate, slightly amusing note - select the 'beep once' sound for a text, remember the sound then send yerself a text - u get a completely different sound, lol. nokia careline explain this as an echo effect and not a discrepancy, lol... |

What is the phone book like on these? Is it the same as the 3310/3330, or can you assign multiple numbers to a name like you can on other Nokia models? |

didn't know you could assign multiple numbers on the 3330 anyway. So far i think you can only have a name and number in one... but you can assign one number buttom dialing and voice dial too. :) |
hanslow, not like the 7210 where yer can assign multiple numbers, mail address, home address and stuff to one contact - still the old one name, one number i'm afraid like the 3310/3330...

salsa - if only i knew why it doesnt work with all web servers. i only have access to freeserve webspace (have tried a couple of accounts), have a suspicion that wap can only handle urls of a certain length. definately dont need wap specific server extensions installed on the web server or owt like that.
the link to the babe pic i put above is http://www.riftzone.fsnet.co.uk/babe.jpg - give it a try from your wap browser - i just get page not found. if you have access to webspace, upload it to there - i'd be curious to find out if it is just freeserve webspace. i could install iis and a dynamic dns client on my own pc but since i'm on dialup, there's not much point... btw, how did u get shot of yer operator logo ? |

doh ! ignore me - the pic with no operator logo on was when yer had no signal !
covers her face somewhat. in the display settings, there is an option to switch the operator logo off but its greyed out... |

Only managed to get one pic to work on mine, the swrt car. It looks a bit small on my Nokia 3650 though. Did get a few tones though which is pretty good as Vodafone want to charge £2.50 a go.
