Because of the attacks and threats on his life and his family.

If You dislike someone you don't know based on media reports I challenge that reasoning.

What's his plan is? I have no idea.

Sleep with the dogs, wake up with the fleas, I say. He's chosen to inhabit a very particular space in the political or pseudo-political sphere, and unfortunately for him, that space happens to be a magnet for extremists from all walks, a fact which I'm sure he's long been aware of. He could easily just walk away and get an ordinary job, but has clearly decided a boring 9-5 kind of life isn't good enough for someone like him.

I was asked why I thought there was hate against him.. that's why.

Maybe he believes strongly what he is doing is right ?

Is he not just a Stereotypical Soccer Hooligan who is always on for a fight ??

Maybe, but as already pointed out (with supporting recent links), the evidence would now seem to suggest he doesn't really believe in very much at all. Rather, he seems to be in it mostly because he enjoys the buzz of being at the centre of attention, and increasingly so now, the trappings that go with that. Is it likely that someone with his otherwise limited skill-set would ever be able to afford a £900K house, paid for in cash no less (as a convicted mortgage fraudster, he'd struggle to obtain one by any other means), and effectively be able to lead a life mostly free of any of the usual constraints of having to pay his own way through hard work? Short of benefitting from a lottery win or a large inheritance, you know full well it isn't.

If I didn't know better, I would have to say that he's now stuck in a situation of living his own legend with no option to stop doing so for the foreseeable future, despite probably realizing that all/most of what he's ever ranted and campaigned about over the years was futile and pointless, if not just plain wrong. Credit to the guy, for playing the alternative side of the system as well as he has, but ultimately, it still looks like there's no real substance behind any of it.

There are a number of reasons not to like Robinson, but the front runner, in my view, is that he takes legitimate criticism of Islam and delivers it inarticulately and in a way that resonates with the thuggish and the bigoted. This gives ammunition to the radical left, other friends of Islam and Islam itself who may brush aside well reasoned polemics as nothing more than ‘hate speach’ and Islamaphobia. Essentially, Robinson is a useful idiot in the culture war and actually serves those he considers opponents. If he genuinely and selflessly wished to help reform Islam, reduce the spread and impact of sharia and create a climate where extremism’s appeal is diminished, it would be best achieved by him quietly stepping down from his platform.

So do you think he knows this and is doing it for his personal gains or does he think he's right

I can’t be sure, Pimmo. I’m careful with my words these days and post on the internet sparingly. Owing to that I read the above out to the missus before firing it out in to the ether and she said, with typical wisdom, “if he knew better, he’d do better”. It may well be that he thinks and feels he’s an asset in the culture war and that his actions are in some way helpful - that’s best case scenario, because at least he’s cocking things up through ignorance. Worst case scenario: he gets off on the fame, power and notoriety and the fact he consciously plays in to the hands of team Islam is a price worth paying. I suspect the truth lay somewhere in the middle. A little of bit of sincerity coupled with a taste for the limelight, but not enough integrity to serve his ‘cause’ effectively.

Well depending what his cause actually is!

Which all comes back to my question; What is he actually trying to achieve?

Odd that considering where the rest of the white population came from :)
