It amazes me that a known issue is not sorted by the manufacturer.Shocks are not rocket science, they have been around for years & there are millions on cars that never have a problem. You would think Subaru would know better than most about suspension.:cuckoo:

MY Legacy B4 has Bilstiens fitted as standard. 156k miles & still going strong.

Im sure if you speak to ollie go see him and explain the issue problem he will look after you he is a good man.

For me, this is a lot. I've never paid more than £100 to have geometry done and it was bang on first time. Even Scoobyclinic only quoted £125 for corner weighting geometry.

Hey Mistermexican,

I wondered when you was going to post this. They must have a habit of saying its the first time it has happened as they said its the first time they had blown and engine up when they blew mine up. :) Have you managed to get any were with them.

No, didn't get anywhere. Basically it boils down to their word versus mine which won't solve anything. Lesson learned.

Jeez man do it yourself
Plenty of guides if you look.
It's a poor quality grease that Subaru put when installing so if you put proper grease in, it should last a while
