Trinity 05 June 2015 07:10 PM

Principals.

If you guys dont have any, thats your business. Personally, Ive been pretty amicable about it.

I am not 'causing' anything, as I believe I have provided enough evidence to warrant that Fud is causing all this drama of the postage money, not me.

If the phone was as described, then no bother at all and everyone would of been happy, but as you can see its not. Thats a simple 'fact of the matter' so thats up to seller to put the situation right, not the buyer who bought in good faith.

I know you are all mates, so I imagine you will all side together, but the facts are there, for all to see.

Phone case and plastic phone cover isnt acceptable to me, happy for refund of all monies paid and if you want the phone back, please cover postage or send a courier label, then everyones sorted, and you can resell the phone, using my photos as well so the new buyer has a much better idea of what theyare buying.

100% bang on wasnt the phrase?

BIG FUD 05 June 2015 07:14 PM

100% bang on to me was my opionion i sent you photos of the same phone u used cannon 760000 zoom i cdnt see the marks that well on my asda camera.

Phone works mint few marks its that simple surely if its for ya mom as you say she wont mind a little few mark's Next time buy her a new one ya tight **** :)

Trinity 05 June 2015 07:21 PM

I am not getting into a debate with you about what is acceptable or not.

My sixty five year old mother took those photos, simple easy to photo with whatever camera she had. If it was that simple for her , then it should of been equally as simple for you, (unless you didnt want to actually photograph the 'tiny' (circa 2" three way crack))?

As you said in PMS, you just didnt inspect it fully , I accepted that without distrust, some people dont and what they see is sometimes not what others will see.

Unfortunately, as I do not have high levels of income currently, buying a new phone is not an option, however buying a 100% 'bang on' phone with a 'tiny' crack for a good price, was something that was possible, but that is not what was delivered, as shown in the photos.

If you want to call me a tight***, thats entirely up to you. I buy what I can afford.

No point continuing the thread if you do not wish to offer an acceptable solution, we've already discussed options in PM, its entirely up to you from here.

BIG FUD 05 June 2015 08:11 PM

Yes get ya money back off pay pal and send phone back sorted.

Trinity 05 June 2015 08:24 PM

If that is how you wish to proceed, then that is your choice.

What an unfortunate circumstance, with all the scammers we talk about on Scoobynet, like those breakers in bradford who send out damaged parts as 'good', or the dealers who sell broken cars as A1 (100% bang on probably) , its a shame that a Scoobynet member has actually become one of those, and actually accuses the buyer of being a tight**** while not arguing of the actual legal refunding of the postage on the item he sold wrongly, a total of £15. Tight****?

Lovely behaviour, it really is, makes one proud to be British.

But, as you wish. You response on PayPal has been required for a while now, that email was sent to your paypal address of vickithud1@hotmail.co.uk therefore you are the one holding this process up, not me.

Some bed time reading

especially this section

What should you get back?

- The original cost of the outbound postage to you should always be refunded by the seller.

- The seller's terms and conditions or returns policy should state who pays the cost of returning the item.

- If they don't state this, then the seller has to cover the cost.

- In this case, you're entitled to a refund of the total amount you paid, including costs to ship the item to you, and the fee to return the item. No admin or restocking fees should be charged.

This includes shopping online, by mail order, over the phone or through a TV shopping channel.

Scoobynet is none of the above :cry:

Ive replied to your pay pal request also to your pussy feedback comments..

bustaMOVEs 05 June 2015 09:46 PM

Lol the troll has had his cumuppance.

Tbf if customer not happy with item I sold wrong, fake or faulty etc, then I'd refund full costs of item paid inc postage but I'd ask buyer to return at own costs.

I can't actually see crack in fuds image as its not clear so I'd ask for better/more photos. Buyer bought a phone with said crack without even seeing crack? Tbh you should of done further checks on your behalf.

Seems that you are enjoying the fact you ripped someone off.

I geuss you are nothing short of a common criminal. *sighs* well judging by all the pms i have recieved from folk its fairly evident who is in the right.

Ill teach my kids a better way and thats what matters the most.

I agree i told him it had a crack i didnt say the size i said when the phone is on you cant see it i took the photos and he said its cheap enough so i can replace the screen so tbh does not matter how big the crack was he was going to replace the screen anyway..

The small ding the phone had a rubber case so i truely didnt see it thus why i offered full refund ...

Then i offered glass screen protector and a free case for the phone so his mom could not the the crack or the dent but still no not happy..

Its not like i have said sorry you aint getting money back you should of asked for a better description and more clear pictures But the greed got the better off you.

Being assured as 'hundred percent bang on with a TINY crack', and actually going on hood human nature and trust i shouldnt have too, this is meant to be a community. I referred to talkng his word for it in pms and was assured it was a1.

Fud refused postage both ways. Just to point that out.

As i have said yoi can all flock in your pack but the pictures speak for themselves. It is fairly evident that Fud took his photos selectively to not show the severity of the damage hoping that the buyer wouldnt care, unfortunately his plan didnt work out.

Deception isnt a nice trait.

Replacing the screen i do believe fhat is a categoric lie. If youbwant to reread your pms 1 AFTER finding the severity of the damage i said if it was cheaper i would of replaced the screen but at that price and replacing the screen brings it inline with ones being sold woth warranty on ebay.

You are telling lies now to be the big i am. Woukd only take me a second to copy all the pms into this thread, save yourself the embarassment and be a man about this.

Greed, your greed regarding postage charges? Yea it was pretty bad trait you seemed to of picked up.

BIG FUD 05 June 2015 10:08 PM

I took photos as i took them not to try and hide anything i was leaning well over the phone i didn't take them from my sofa while the phone was on the table ?

Mad how calmer comes isnt it trinity.

Can you show me message where i refused postage both ways as im sure i said ill send you your full payment back to you except the cost of you sending it back to me so why have you told pay pal your not outlaying £15 is another lie.

Deception isnt a nice trait ...Neither is being a lying ....

Do you mean Karma? yes I understand you would be concerned about this after your actions regarding this. Me personally, I have always been honest about everything I have sold, so my karma is fantastic.

I will be contacted admin to retrieve the messages I had to delete as of the small inbox to retrieve the line where you said 'ill refund you minus MY postal charges'

As returning the phone would not of been your postal charges, it is very clear what you are referring too, and its amusing how you are attempting to now 'sly' out of that, now ever your buddies have told you it would of been unreasonable not to refund original posting.

I know you have issues, but you are trying to create a situation now that actually isnt the truth, but you wont 'win' unfortunately, far to much evidence of your behaviour in this.

Actually enjoying the situation is quite appalling behaviour.

When I get that PM back, ill post it.

BIG FUD 05 June 2015 10:25 PM

Replacing the screen i do believe fhat is a categoric lie. If youbwant

Do you mean karma.......Yes i did...

Fhat do you mean that.... Youbwant did you mean you want.

Well i geuss the truth has come out now. I almost feel like you did it on purpose.

Sad day for scoobynet, humanity and general good will among men.

Thankyou for supporting all the evidence shown. Ill await my refund.

Grown men falling out over a pittance.

As I said on another thread recently, my mother would say you need your heads banging together to knock some sense in to you both.

Can you not meet in the middle and accept it as a mis-understanding on both parties counts.

It's a case of expectation over interpretation, one mans munter is another mans missus. :D

Don't make me have to send my mother round, she still packs a decent slap aged 79. :lol1:

DEFINITELY THIS!!!!:thumb: I have dealt with Fud before and found him to be a top fella,as all of his positive feedback that he has accumulated over the years should testify, but reading through this thread this morning sounds like it has been a cat fight between to girls and quite frankly has suprised me,Fud mate in all honesty i would of just refunded him to keep the peace as if a member is not happy and i am the seller then it's just one of those things and i would have to sell it on with better pictures;)as the damage that he's shots show are more detailed then the ones that you took, you used a asda camera did you say:lol1: come on "sort it out guys".SJ.

bustaMOVEs 06 June 2015 11:10 AM

Lol, I havnt met neither of you nor do I know any of you. (So friends I am not!)

But going by the cheeky attitude you were giving fud prior so sale, is probably why fud is being a coont with you (banter or not) he may of not seen it that way. Which serves you right in a way.
I can't speak for fud, but I think both of you are being awkward lol. Leave it to PayPal and shake yer heads.

Trinity 06 June 2015 11:29 AM

Thanks for all your comments guys.

Wouldnt really say it was a cat fight as you say,

1. Item not as described
2. Refund required included postage costs refused - as to why considering the level of mis description is unknown
3. I posted a good thread in response to it, offering it to the other potential buyers to buy the phone for the price i paid, but allowing them to base their purchase of the phone on true photos showing the damage, not intentionally mishot ones.

then Fud starts his rants with theories and more mis-representations, almost to the point of looking like he is enjoying all of this, which in my book is pretty poor behaviour.

Whether or not banter flowed or not, this is a simple case, very black or white, he still took the money , therefore prior banter is not involved.

I am going to drop Ali a PM shortly to get back the postage refusal PM's.

Wether you class the damage as personal 'opinion' (which is pretty impossible) remember that even the box and manual was not the correct one.

So really, any decent person would take the phone back, cover the costs, kick themselves for not being more honest about it in the first place and learn from it to avoid problems with future sales, then both walk away with no troubles. That option was given with no dramas at all, but he was more concerned over the £14.50 postal fees while quoting he was 'to busy because he was dealing with selling £40k worth of race parts'.

The buyer should never have to spend their own money returning an item that has been missold. Its that simple.

How I am being awkward is impossible to denote really. Why should a person be out of pocket, when buying a 100% bang on phone with a tiny crack, with box etc, and recieving a battered 2" three way cracked phone with the wrong box, and dents and scratches?

Thankfully phrases like 'serves me right', supports my case because for something to 'serve me right' means I am in the right and being somewhat victimised because of prior history.

If you would be happy doing that, taking a loss for someone selling you crap, thats you guys and you're welcome to your opinion, personally I would never say the buyer should have to lose out. So no awkwardness, just common decency.

True :)

Thanks buddy, appreciate you saying so :thumb:

bustaMOVEs 06 June 2015 11:58 AM

The points I don't disagree with, but IMO full refund, minus return costs would be fair (seen as you should of asked for clearer pics of said crack as I can't see nothing in fuds pic with his Asia camera, wtf asda camera? Hence he spends big money on cars lol)
As to be a 100% bang on phone with a tiny crack is not 100% bang on. You as a buyer should know it's not 100% when it's listed with a crack, so IMO take it as lesson learnt and meet half way on postage.
Hope you two sort it. I'll leave ya to it.

Guess we come from very different walks of life.

As I already mentioned, I didnt expect it to be as 'mint' as said, however a tiny crack is 'tiny', not two inches, three way split, dent, wrong box and scuffed and scratches. On a device that is say 5 inchs by 3 inches, a 1-2 inch crack is NOT tiny by anyones standards.

Pictures where obviously taken as they where on purpose, to support the 'tiny' crack description, however when genuine photos where taken the truth is revealed.

We can actually see Fud using another expensive Smart phone in the reflection of one of his own photos, that was used to take the photo, so his 'asda' camera theory just got destroyed, by his own admission and submitted evidence.

Obviously this has now proved to be intentional deceit and therefore situation needs to be rectified to avoid any costs to the victim.

If it continues to not be addressed by the seller, then I believe we all know what he is trying to do, and in my world, that is a pretty awful way to be towards another person.

Why not just both meet up and sort it out man to man ? Or even settle it over an arm restle ? Big fud don't look that strong , don't think he has ever done weights ! Ha ...

That would be funny, I know Fud and he is only about 5ft 5" and wouldn't hurt a fly. If you saw him you would probably think he worked in a church :D

Trinity 06 June 2015 04:04 PM

If the 'Big' man wants to come down and drop my refund in, in person, then drive the three hundred miles or so to collect the phone from my mum, its not a problem at all.

No attempt from me to be awkward, however he wants to get my money to me, and the phone back, with avoidance of the postal charges he is concerned about, I am happy to go with that to make his life easier. Cash or PayPal, either way is fine.
