Its just what im going for, to be as low and as close to the tyre as possible. Some people aim for as much power as they can achieve, whereas i aim to get it as low and flush as possible....just different tastes.
Chris, i was parked on a funny angle there, the other side was a lot lower due to a small hill i parked on, which made it look higher than it is :( I couldn't care less how my old EVO or Scoob handles it's all about straight line and looking good for me. :luxhello: |
Theres £1895 worth of parts there, and their cheap parts!!

Problem is that no one will pay for the mods unless they want those exact mods and even then you will get nowhere near what they cost.
You would be better putting it back to standard and selling the parts separately tbh. There are UK Turbos with not many more miles than that seling for less than £2K with performance mods. Return to standard, sell the car for about £1500 and sell the mods for whatever you can get. |
Yeah if i cant sell it as a whole, ill be putting it back to standard and advertising it for £1500

As i said, the parts alone are worth over £1650, so the car itself is £1600.
And where can you find a clasic impreza in great condition with only 3 owners from new, and 55, 000 miles? I couldnt find any

Well for someone with time and space, you could make money on this selling all the parts.
Will take £1600 for it standard. Still comes with Nardi steering wheel, apexi back box and smooth front bumper :) Nice little run around for someone? |
Mate, in the nicest possible way, as others have said, you never get the money back on mods - often they actually reduce the value of the car.
Additionally, yours is not a turbo model, so less desirable than the cars in a similar or cheaper price bracket. Best thing to do is return it to standard and sell on all the shiny bits separately. |
Yeah ive started to realise that, i cant believe how cheap subaru's are at the moment! How much is it worth standard?

Yeah im splitting it now, taking it almost back to standard, but got to leave some parts on because i either cant re fit standrd bits or dont have them lol.
Really suprised that none of the parts have sold yet. Only the interior......its really starting to piss me off lol! Had about 20 people email me about the wheels, i tell them exactly what their asking me about, and then dont hear back from them!!! |
it takes time to sell parts bud , have you listed them elsewhere ?
|
Once their all off the car im going to put them on ebay and pistonheads. Need it all sold ASAP as ive got to pay off new car!
|
i really liked his car mate top job, but as allways best way to get your money back is in bits.
|
Shame to see it split, I think it looked great. Good luck with the next project, be sure to chuck some pics up on here :thumb:

Exhausts
Hi.
Sorry to resurrect such an old post. However, can anyone tell me exactly what exhaust parts I would need to buy to get the Turbo burble on my Sport? Thanks, John. |
a backbox and unequal length headers (borla replica etc)
these two non-turbo groups on FB would be worth joining: https://www.facebook.com/groups/isn.group/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/498317490208715/ |
As above, unequal length headers are the best item to change to get the 'burble'.
