On behalf of my son Ben, You would of seen the car on track at rallyday Castle Combe.

I'm selling my Civic type R. I've owned the car Since July and the only reason its for sale now is because I'm going to enter the Welsh Tarmac Rally Championship in my 205 rally car this year and this car will be sat in the garage unused.

The car is a well known car on the Civic type r forum. The attention to detail in just the Service history is amazing. Id go as far to say its one of the best Civics available Thats what attracted me to buying it originally. In my short ownership Ive covered around 3K miles and 3 track sessions. Ive even changed the oil twice in that time. The spec is near enough how I bought it apart from a few things.

I have receipts for everything this car has ever had!

Car Spec

Very rare Milano Red Premier Edition with low mileage 59,900
FSH - Honda serviced before previous owner, then looked after by ABP Motorsport then I fully serviced it myself
Taxed until June 2014
MOT until January 2015
stone chips removed and a scuff on the rear bumper repaired and repainted. Have pictures of the work in progress and before paint for those interested.

The car hasn't covered 10K miles since the supercharger was fitted!


The car does have some very sought after modifications fitted which were either fitted by Area Motorsport or Grinspeed. These include;

Since owning the car I have added the following

Godspeed Brakes Front and Rear Grooved Discs and Front CL Rc5+ Pads Rear EBC Bluestuff (these have covered no more than 1K miles)
Brake fluid changed for CL Race fluid
Fully Reconditioned rear Calipers painted red
Toyo R888 Tyres front and rear
Special fitted seat cover to protect the seat

Comes with the usual Premier spec; tinted rear glass, red carpets, NON-AC model. Calipers with Type R embossed.

The car wants for nothing, It doesn't get used in the rain. Its seriously fast and holds its own against many bigger cars.
The car has a massive folder of service history, you can see no expense has been spared. My own blog and the previous owners can be found on the Civic type R forum.

Bad points

Every car has them, the only ones I can honestly say the car has are:

Wheels have a few marks in by the bolts holes
Front caliper colour has changed due to track heat
The lacquer on the Tegiwa scoop is starting to flake
The odd Stone chip on the front
