I bought an 02 plate one for £350 a few months ago, Higher miles than yours and didn't have any tax or mot like but cost me £20 to get it through mot plus mot cost and 6 months tax so total was like just shy of £500.
Prices are all over the place for your model of car but personally I think in the region of 1k sounds about right.
