Default Black Mitsubishi Evolution 6.5 Tommi Makinen Edition

Hi all,

This is my 6.5 Evo, TME.

Voted the best evo ever made, it doesn't really require much of an introduction,

I've owned it for the last 5 months and loved every second of it, it's very fast, very smooth on boost all the way to redline.

It's a 2001 51 Reg evo, the very last off the production line! one of 250 Ralliart editions (UK spec) and one of only 25 ever made, so its a rare piece of kit!

Has 8 months MOT left, 4 months tax. Has full stamped service history and has had 3 personal oil changes using Mobil 1 oil & genuine oil filters in the last 6k miles.

Comes with private plate

Mods :

Block is standard

Has BC adjustable coilovers, Compomotive lightweight 18" alloys fully refurbed and still like brand new. Wrapped in proxes.

Brand new Ralliart flaps, compo centre caps & whiteline rear adjustable drop links.

A few samco hoses under the engine bay.

Not messed around with engine wise. Running strong as my daily runner and has just touched 100k miles with a full comprehensive service history to back it up.

Selling only as I want to build my type R ( see projects thread ) so want the funds!

Underside is straight & solid, there is a rust patch in the boot that is currently covered by sound proofing. Being honest here guys, quoted £140 + VAT by pearce brothers to fix it like new and spray it original.

you can see it underneath, directly above the tailpipe. You wouldn't look unless I pointed it out, but I would like you to know in advance.

Some evo 6's can be shed's but mines a fantastic looking car that's dry and straight and apart from mentioned rust free example.

When it's hot ( the weather ) my driver window can make a squeak noise when going down so a little WD40 or a touch of grease on the runner would eliminate it as when it rains it goes

usual evo 6 engine tap I guess is worth mentioning but every evo does it even newage 9's & 10's....

Front bumper on bottom right hand corner has a scuff from a small brush with a kerb.

Great car, rare as chickens teeth & priced well as the markets so aweful.

Located in Bristol!

Cheers,

Neil - 07718082174

Would take decent part ex, but cash my way ideally.

£7500

Underside first...

Exterior & Interior

Enjoy!

Yeah the tappets on evos are a little noisy. Not worth mentioning for those that have owned evos, but seeing it's a scooby forum thought I would mention it!

Think the seller should post a link up of the advert on the mlr.
'if' there's a bit of history to this car let people have the chance to do their homework on it.
I take comments on the mlr with a pinch of salt but that's my view

Glws if it's a straight car

Please feel free to read.

Car no longer for sale. There is a rust patch in boot, I uploaded pics I mlr of it. Having it cut out, new metal in and repaint on any effected areas. All underseal will be removed so I can give the underside a cut back to metal with a full bill of health.

Car is accident free, no hpi and I will happily upload pictures of everything I find!

Cheers

I know the guy who owned it so I've asked. We I'd drivers side if I remember correctly.

It wasn't bad damage so no need to worry there iirc it was a scrape and I think we replaced a door. But don't hold me to that, all our work is top notch and we use DuPont paints so no need to worry there.

I know it's had a few owners since he sold it though. Seems to be one of those cars people bounce around.

Well compliments buddy, it's superb and not recognisable at all. Panel damage is common for cars like these as they attract attention. The sills inner and under are solid, and perfectly straight. Appreciate the information. I'd rather have it sorted all myself, that way I can document it and it's perfect.

Cheers

Yeah the owner was really fussy so opted for a new panel over having it filled.

It wasn't speed related damage it was a graze from turning to tight to a post like scrape. If that makes sense.

Yeah know exactly what you mean. That's really positive information on my part so appreciate that.

Going to enjoy her for a while and relist her in a year or so. Sorting all bits, then I'm going to get a £1200 rod job from cpp or Norris designs to cover the fact she's on 100k. That will bullet proof it to 600bhp.

It seems to have had a life of pass me on's and to be honest I feel a little sorry for her lol. I will post a thread on mlr so do take a look!

Cheers
