Looking for swap for my ep3
Only testing the water at the moment as I'm sorely tempted to get another impreza, I've had three . I'd be looking for a uk turbo in great condition with fsh, low miles and subtle mods, exhaust, induction kit etc, nothing heavy. Anyway here's the spec of the car and I will update with pics either on here or via email to anyone interested.
04/54 Milano red facelift ep3.
Mileage, 77k with fsh mostly by abp Motorsport in Crewe.
Condition 8/10. No 8 year old car is mint, I don't care what people say.
Mot until January 2014
Tax until July
Has all books, service, handbook, both keys and fobs.
Subtle mods I've had done.
Un silenced bpipe with oem backbox. I've tried a few different ones, from loud too not so loud and this IMO is the best set up. Not only does it sound pretty good it doesn't give you a headache on journeys nor does it alienate you from neighbours.
Aemv2 induction kit. Sounds good and again I've tried a few.
Power flex gearbox mount, subtle but affective
Short shifter bushes
Stoptech brake pads supplied by abp.
Previous owner works for some kind of tyre company, for the life of me I can't remember the name, i got the impression it was more of a test company for cars to try different tyres. He tried lots of different brands over the years but settled on the Michelin premacy tyres as the best over all for grip and ride comfort, i have no complaints.
Fast road set up. That includes abp eibach lowering springs, eibach camber bolts and rear d2 adjustable camber arms. This all got set up by abp and has transformed the car. Not only does it look better, it rides better than stock, the latter surprised me the most.
The car never wants for anything and gets polished every Sunday, and I mean every Sunday. With working in the trade and the boss leaving me in peace on a Sunday out comes the jet wash, I have serious OCD about any car I've owned. The previous owner had the car for five years and has looked after it very well, I if I'm honest have improved it ten fold.
My plans were to upgrade the brakes, get the ecu reflashed and do a few track days but I've got a feeling I want another impreza. That thought came about after a lad I kind of know bought the red low mileage uk impreza off here, which looks stunning. Any questions please ask and like I say I can forward pictures on.
Cheers guys,
Dan.
